Couldn't you argue that picture isn't a blast against the 360 so much as it is against the ps3? The 360 is getting the same results with archaic media technology (standard dvd) as the ps3 is doing with next gen media.

JFD - the office is looking for a new runner/handy dude and the job is easy. its downtown over here in mcallen and the pay is 9.50 + mileage (.505 cents a mile). all ya need is a car full time and able to do shit on time when asked. yesterday, the temporary runner and I had to move 59 boxes downstairs for a case they're starting and each box was around 30-40 pounds a piece. you'll probably be doing that type of crap on a daily basis, but if you're interested and don't mind driving around all day or lifting/moving the dumbest shit, i'll put in a good word for ya.

Thrawn trilogy? I didn't know that was the first of the SW books.

I'm just reading a random one-off at the moment - Allegiance - set just after ANH I believe. Good stuff, quick and light reading. Although in some aspects these novels set inside the main movies are a little bit hollow as you know nothing is really going to happen to Luke, Han, Leia, etc.

Kind of the same deal with Lost when they have that big hoo-ha around Jack needing his appendix out a few epis ago. Uh, we already see he makes it off the island in the flash forwards so there isn't much real drama there...

I don't know Frosty, maybe you saw an early build of Fable 2 or something but from the videos/screencaps I've been seeing it looks great. Much better than Ninja Gaiden 2 which is looking very dated at this point.

And I'm still excited about Gears 2, NG2, and MGS4, but just not to the level as Fallout 3 or Fable 2. I'd actually go so far to say that I'm kinda more anxious for the Forced Unleashed or the new Prince of Persia game than NG2 or MGS4.
