I'd say the Indiana Jones quadrilogy, or maybe Kill Bill on one disc, or even all the Jame Bond movies.

I'll guarantee you that out of the 6 you listed, we'll be lucky to get 2 of those "collections" on Blu-ray by the end of 2011. Indiana Jones is coming and so is LOTR (eventually), but you will never see all the Childs Play, Jaws or Star Wars movies on Blu-ray in the next 5 years. Period. Rocky....maybe.

My thoughts exactly. While I know the OP only had a limited amount of options, there are a lot of better franchises out there than Jaws and Child's Play.

I expect to see the original 3 Indy movies hit blu-ray when the new one comes out on video, close to Christmas. So that gets my vote.

I'm also ready for them to put The Matrix out on blu-ray already.

The Lord of the Rings will be insane when it comes out. When the extended versions came out on DVD I heard that there was even more extra footage to be added. I hope the Blu Ray set will have that extra footage on it. Each movie would be like 4 hours long.

Taking the chance of being called lazy for just not looking myself, do any of you guys know if Disney has said anything about releasing any of their classic animated movies (Aladin, Little Mermaid, etc) on Bluray?

I almost bought a bunch of them on DVD the other day, but decided to hold off, since I figured they would eventually be released in HD. Any idea on any time frames?

Nope, all we know right now is that they are releasing Sleeping Beauty this year.
I think it's one movie from their vault per year.

Too hard to decide between Star Wars (Episode 4-6), LOTR, and Indiana Jones....

James Bond?

Waiting for Star Wars for sure! Watch a limited edition Death Star case where all disc will fit inside. [One can dream].

Indiana Jones I expect something when they release the new one. All four in one BD boxset.

Alien Quadrilogy: Still holding on not buying the DVD version. But the question is when in the hell are we going to see this? I'm getting impatient and want to see them again.

LOTR: Just wow. Can't wait for this as well. Bought the extended versions with the statues and got the outside slipcase when I bought the third one. What's taking them so long?

Jurassic Park: Another one to add to the collection. Love the first. Liked the second, and okay with the third one.

I'm waiting for Star Wars even though I've picked up almost every copy on DVD since they were released then rereleased then released once again!

I'll pick up LOTR when it shows up on Blu-ray though, but I'm in no hurry.

Not a big fan of LOTR...can't really stand those movies, but they would be nice to view in HD. I'd love to see Blade come out as a trilogy, I really loved those movies. Idk why some others aren't. Such as Grindhouse on one blu-ray would be cool, and the After Dark Horror Fest movies. Idk about the sales but it would be nice to have. I'm sure theres a HD horror audience.
Is there a Saw box set yet?
Also still waiting on Nightwatch/Daywatch to come to HD. But maybe when Twilightwatch is ready for a home release, there will be a box set? Come on Fox, work your magic. With that said though, I'm worried this third one will upset the trilogy, being the first two russian made.

If Star Wars comes out in a 6 DVD bluray set i'll be all over that. Anything less and you can count me out. I will be getting the Indy 4set when it's released and i doubt i'll be able to resist LOTR when they do a double dip. I can't wait to see all these movies in high res on some amazing TV.

Kill Bill
Most of the movies made since 2000
I also would like fewer releases of movies that don't need hi-def treatment

Right now, theres only a Saw box set in Japan as far as I know. I don't think they could include anything in it to justify that extra 90$ pricetag though.

Nightwatch/Daywatch are going to be out July 4th. Havent heard anything about US yet.

I'm pumped for Heroes Season 1 & 2 in a few months. Still no Dexter 1 & 2 announcement. And only Season 1 of The Tudors is on Blu-Ray...but not in America.

I wish the fucktards would get Lost 1-2 and Sopranos 1-5 out on Blu-Ray.

I'd like to see LotR the most, because I can imagine the scenery being amazing to witness in HD. But I'd be most likely to buy Indy since I already have the extended LotRs and I don't own Indy.

Star Wars and Aliens series (should happen since both AVPs and Predator is already on BR).
