PSP Slim battery life while traveling

I'm sure you are all sick of hearing all these PSP battery life questions but I haven't found any updated answers anywhere on the interwebs :(

I travel from west to east coast a lot by plane. Its generally a 5-6 hour ride or so. Will a PSP Slim last the entire time if I use it as an all around media player including gaming, at least one UMD movie and listening to music? This would beat having to carry-on an mp3 player, portable game system and dvd player.

I'm familiar with the extended life battery (that doesn't fit the Slim properly) but I'd rather not get it if I can get away with what is already given in the console bundles for these plane rides.

Between MP3s and games, I believe mine lasts ~5 hours. No idea how much life a UMD movie takes up.

largely depends on game titles as well mostly due to if the disc is being spun often or not.

I'd estimate I get 4-5 hours playing games and watching movies but I've never really paid too much attention. To play it safe, I'd say bring your PSP for games and movies, and bring your mp3 player. Both of these are smaller than a portable dvd player.
