I sold my old PSP on eBay last year when the rumors were flying about a new model being shown at E3. So I've been without a PSP for almost a year.

I like the red a lot. I probably would have gotten black if it had a decent bundle, but the red is fun. I get sick of everything being black or silver; hence the orange PC case. That's an NZXT Apollo case FYI. Very nice tool less case.

I ordered a replacement battery cover from Play Asia for $0.99 + shipping. So when I get sick of Kratos, he'll be gone.

Great pictures. I just got my Red PSP today but I was so disappointed that GOW doesn't come with a case. I'm having a lot fun playing Jeanne D'arc, can't wait to get FFT.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed by the no-case, but it's in my PSP case anyway, and I can't see selling the game ever.

I haven't put Jeanne D'arc in yet. I got that too. I plan on getting FF Tactics soon as well. I missed out on about a year's worth of good PSP games. It's kind of cool buying another machine when most of the games you want are cheap.

FYI: I love Crisis Core. Great game.

I do have a Canon XTi, I don't have the kit lens.

I used two lens. I used a EF f/1.8 50mm II and a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS.

The psp is really nice looking, but it would have been even better if they didn't have to ruin it by putting kratos on the back of it. Really nice pics OP.

If you don't like the Kratos, then you're in luck. They put him on the battery cover, so you can order a replacement red one from playasia.com and be Kratos free.

On the flip side, people who like the Kratos on there get shafted if they want to go with an extended/phat battery, as they lose Kratos when they put the bigger cover on.

I'm kinda liking him on there for now. I figure when I get tired of him, I'll just get a fat battery and replacement cover.

Great pictures. Be sure to take pics once your Red replacement cover comes in.

I did the same thing to my White Slim. I ordered a replace battery cover to get rid of Vader. It's a little bit off white with the rest of the PSP, but really no big deal and unnoticeable unless I point it out to someone. But the battery cover does sit with the rest of the PSP a lot better than the OEM one.

Just got the God of War bundle! Love it :) I haven't had a psp for a few years, but I really love the new slim. I would like to get the extended battery, but only if I get a red battery cover. Did anyone receive the Red Battery Cover from play-asia? How is it? Is there anywhere in the US to buy it from?

I got the case off ebay for a little over 4 bucks shipped... although the seller seems to be getting slightly different cases since their supplier gives them different ones. I have contacted them so I can order more of these because the other ones they have are not as good. The seller's user name on ebay is pokmantech. The shipping took about 5 days from Hong Kong, not bad. It's well packaged also.

I like this one but I haven't seen it in person to know if its bulky or not. It does say it holds 8 UMDs though which makes me think its bigger than it needs to be.

Thats the same case as the one the op uses. I have it also, they had them at Circuit City last month for $9.99 but the price has gone back up to $14.99 since. It fits the PSP really snugged and the ad saying it fits 8 UMDs is false. It does not fit 8 umds. There can't possibly be any way to. I would say maybe 2 or 4 max if you push it.

Yeah I have the slim RDS case.

It fits 4 UMD's on the inside and 2 in the outer pocket. But, that's pushing it. 4 is the sweet spot IMO.

Lol I see this right after I bought it from Play-asia (I also bought the cheap crystal case from there).. Oh well :P It doesn't look *that* bad... Just not as fluid as the two cases that come with the extended battery set.

Bummer about that battery cover. A silver one is enroute to me. I'll almost certainly use it as long as the system will still fit in the old, black PSP pouch I keep it in. If it doesn't. Well, it only cost like 3 dollars after shipping.

Well the package does state that it is for the "PSP OLD KIND BATTERY" (translation: the battery cover is for old PSP Phat batteries installed in the PSP Slim) so weren't you expecting a massive bulge?
