In repsonse to the actual topic, I've gotta go with Swingers and Fight club (both already mentioned I believe). Swingers gets funnier every time I watch it. If you like Swingers, check out Made as well. It's practically Swingers 2.
'Oh! Score Chicago!'
EDIT I knew the moment I posted, I would remember some more. Anything by the Coens. Every film they do is a perfect reflection of the people and culture on which it is based. I swear, they each had to have lived past lives in each part of the country, because they just know what these characters should be saying and doing. Few directors and screenwriters are 'artists', and these two have proven themselves in this regard every time.

My bestfriend's mom was into it when it first came out over here as a special on mtv. I believe it was meant to be a variety show in a way. Anyway years later we got hold of the tapes and have watched them religiously ever since, he even has the dvds now. Great show, have you seen "Bottom"? it just had Rik and Vyvian (Adrian Edmonson) and Mike (Christopher Ryan) made some guest appearances, but it was a great spin-off.

Oh man... when I get in a "British" mood, all hell breaks loose. I start imitating Vyv or Neil usually, but sometimes Mike or Rick even, and just go crazy. My college friends love it, but they really have no idea where the madness (no not the band that played twice on the show) comes from, they just laugh.
