Haven't seen the Iron Man movie but was reminded of Iron Lantern for some reason.. he was pretty cool. One of my favorites for sure. Thoughts?

that was connected to the marvel vs dc series right? i didnt like the amalgum characters much but i recall some of the battles being ok.

I never read any of the issues, but I remember it very well, especially the Batman/Wolverine hybrid character.

Hehehe... I enjoy that thread (even though I don't post in it as much as I'd like), so I figured a plug was necessary. :D

I dug Amalgam Comics. X-Patrol was fun. Elastigirl was hot. :drool:

ive got all of the vs comics and i think some of the amalgums the only one i know for sure was generation hex i think i got. gotta check the comic list. ok i hve that and jlx unleashed. if i had them on me id sell em to you but before i moved i dropped them al off at my moms houe for safe keeping. you should be able to find them in some kind of trade paperback or something. i cant recall how popular this eries was though but the marvel vs dc series was 4 comics long then thy did the amalgums and i believe something after it. these will probably be hard to find like those old malibu comics series. as far as original runs go.

I remember some fo the amalgam characters. Dark Claw (wolverine/batman) Spider-Boy (spidey, superboy) Amazon (storm, wonder woman) Doctor Strange Fate (doc strange, fate) Iron Lantern (green lantern, iron man) Thorion (thor, orion) Thanoseid (thanos, darkseid)

That's what I went ahead and did.. I got both for $20 shipped off amazon.

i don't know.. the idea was pretty nifty at the time, and i ended up buying all of that marvel vs. dc stuff along with the amalgam one shots, but i felt that the stories were pretty much hot garbage. i'm glad it was mostly just cocktease, because a lot of it was just too contrived to be taken seriously. but i guess that was partly the point..
