Hot/Dead pixels GoW bundle

Just noticed a few hot pixels near the middle of the freaken screen on my brand new GoW PSP! I've used it a couple of hours the other day and today, but not until I watched a movie did I notice those hot pixels, it's max 2 pixels wide and only noticeable against a pure black background (e.g. when you first turn it on) in a dimly lit room.

Told the cashier in CC some time to confirm before exchanging it for me.

Just wondering how wide spread is this problem - hot/dead pixels on brand new psp...

PS: Would SONY's warranty protect against hot/deal pixels within a year of purchase?

I got a dead pixel stuck right in the middle of the screen on my GoW bundle. The replacement from Amazon should be arriving tomorrow. I'm hoping this isn't a widespread problem. My first PSP fat had like 4 dead pixels, I exchange it at best buy and my second one didn't have any.

Yea it does, it works like the disc read error PS2. You send in your PSP, they send you one back, hopefully one with no dead pixels.

In the middle would make me exchange it, but I went through a few at the store a year ago and 2 out of 3 had dead pixels. This was the Star Wars one. What I did was get my first one on a screen that showed the dead pixel (movie) paused it, then walked into the store so they could see it plainly right away.

I ended up with a good one, but then 6 months later I had a dead one in the corner, I just live with it.

it is no where close to how bad launch fat psp were

Unlike my fat launch unit, my God of War PSP has a perfect screen.

I must be lucky, my launch psp had not dead pixels.......yet

My first fat model had like 8 stuck/dead pixels. None on my PSP-2000. :D
