Transferring Saves to PS3?

Is there anyway to transfer saves on a PS2 memory card to the PS3 harddrive? I am mulling over the possibility of purchasing an 80 gb PS3 for the BC because I still have some PS2 titles I need to start/finish [Odin Sphere, Persona 3 come to mind]. If there is a way to do this, that would be great, otherwise Im not sure if splurging on the BC PS3 would be worth it for me.

If you can find one at Kmart, it's about $4 currently
