Help ole SNES more knowledgeable members....
I bow and appreciate your expertise.
I'm posting this here quick as I am still learning about the snes library of great games. My collection is limited to garage sale finds last year, no hits this year, but when I saw Earthbound...

Seller is asking $200
I already have a couple snes consoles.
Do I just pick out Earthbound, Paperboy 2, Qbert 3, and Gradius III with an offer of ?
Or are there some other gems that should justify offering ? for the lot.
Thanks in advance!

This includes: game console, 29 games listed below, 2 game controllers and RCA cables all for only $200. We would like to sell the whole set together.
Games:
Aero the Acrobat 2,
Alien 3,
DirtTrax Fx,

Not sure I would put that phone number on there, if I were you ;)

Anyways, I'd say if you just offer to buy a couple games, they are going to hold off on selling just those to you because they obviously want to get rid of it all at once. Offer them $140 shipped for the whole lot and see what happens?

Oops on the number, duh!
Spoke to the seller, she said to send her an e-mail of which games and my offer. But yes, they prefer to sell the lot.

Damn, that's a whole lot of garbage with very few gems. Earthbound is tough to throw out a price on because they may know how much it's worth, or they may not, thus you don't know whether to lowball and get rebuffed, or highball which tells them they've got something there. I would have asked her if any of the games are complete, because with Earthbound it makes a bit of a difference.

In any case, I would add a couple of decent common games to the list (just to throw them off and not make you think you are cherry picking, in case they know what the games are worth) that you send her in an email, and offer maybe $5 or 10 per game if they're complete. This way you can play ignorant if they mention that Earthbound is worth a lot. With the $200 asking price (especially with that many crap games), they may know it's worth, or they may just think that the games are worth $5-10 each.

I personally wouldn't pay more than $100 for that lot, and even at that price point, it's a hard sell for me. I doubt they would take that price though.

Your probably right.
These are the ones I was thinking of -
Donkey Kong Country
Earthbound
Kirby’s Dream course
Paperboy 2
Q-Bert 3
Super Buster Brothers
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario World

Offer $50 or ?

Yeah, I think that's the best bet. How about starting at $40, thus $5 per game. And your selection is pretty much spot on what I would have gone for. You can always resell the ones you don't want or already have since they are the popular ones. Hopefully you will get it. Try to keep it under $50.
