ps2 + 10 games = ps3?

They did those deals back in the day, a ps2 and 10 games got an xbox, or a dreamcast and 10 games got a ps2, or a ps1 and 10 games got a dreamcast.

A PS2 and 10 games, probably will not happen for either the XBOX 360 or a PS3.

Damn I wish...I'd do that deal in a heartbeat and I have a slim ps2 and plenty of good ps2 games. If only it were that easy =)

Not sure if I ever saw that with the current gen systems but they used to do those deals, like other posters have commented. Check the boards, I think there is a trade-on deal where you can get $80 for PS2 towards PS3

That's your best bet. They haven't stopped selling PS2's nationwide yet and there's plenty of supply vs demand. Check for anything rare and then try to sell the rest off to interested parties. Good luck!

I honestly thought this was a joke topic when I first read the op....being that you are serious,you do realize that the cheapest PS3 is $400 right??

Unless those 10 games are some of the rarer titles for ps2,I doubt you can get enough money for a ps3....if you do own some of the rarer titles you can probably get decent amount for them on ebay.....factor that in with the $80 fro GS for the ps2 and it won't cost that much out of pocket..

Might be a little more work than a straight trade but definitely worth it imo if you don't wanna pay full price for a ps3....

Sell the 10 games on eBay and trade in the PS2 for $80 (Game Stop), but you'll still likely need extra money.
