I think these are hard to find but maybe not, I was at a Game Stop today that had about 10 of them, but others have been sold out. Hopefully for collectors these are limited and they just have excess from making more than how many were pre-ordered.

Any word if this is actually going to be limited like the MGS3: Subsistence LE?

Yeah... but, B&N doesn't have the MGS4 LE.
So, there cheap shipping doesn't even matter.
It's only available at Gamestop.

There not nearly as limited. There were no more subsistence le after preorders were done......actually there wasn't even enough for all the preorders. MGS4 LE is still in stock even after all preorders have been fulfilled.

Yes, this LE is not nearly as limited. As the other poster mentioned, there weren't even enough Subsistence LEs to fulfill all pre-orders. I was one of the people who got screwed out of a copy.

Yes it is... Barne & Noble Online are the same company as GameStop. I just ordered there for $95 shipped.

All our LE editions were reserved and picked up on release day. We had 3 copies of the regular edition extra that were sold, and 3 people didnt pick up their regular reserve on release day.

I figure since MGS3:Subsitance is essentially a reissue/remake, Konami didn't anticipate a high demand for the LE version.
Since MGS4 is a brand new and highly anticipated title, the LE amounts produced should be much higher. But hopefully not to Microsoft levels!

Bleh, I rather get the regular edition over the LE that is a waste of $25 extra.

I was expecting a metal case (that was in the original GS description), but now only the artwork is printed on tin pasted to a heavy cardboard container. It is still very nice.
Normally I would expect to pay $10-$15 for a CE/LE version, but it looks as the effort and quality put into the bonus Blu-Ray is above what you would normally see and justifies the price uptick.
$85 will seem cheap, once the LEs sell out.

Yeah, the extra content for this LE is great. I'm sure people will say, "Just wait until it ends up on the web." If you want to do that, it's your choice, but I would rather buy the product and show my support for Kojima. He deserves it.

All the Gamestops around me still have it so I don't think it's that rare.
It definitely won't be as rare as subsistence.

I don't think it its limited at all other than you can only buy it from Gamestop. In Japan the LE sold a over 100K so you can just imagine how many EB/Gamestop will be peddling.

I saw a few of these ones sell for about 400.00 on ebay. That will be a VERY rare limited edition. Ours, probably not as much. It will never touch the level of Subsistence LE.

I got the LE just because Im a fan of the series. So the making of and the soundtrack are worth it to me. But most people that are fans probably have bought it by now or dont have ps3s yet so the LEs may be on the shelfs for quite awhile.

I definitely think these are more limited than some of the limited editions we have seen lately, many of which (Halo Legendary, I am looking at you) sit on shelves for months and months. This will be gone, eventually.

Who knows, maybe gamestop is artificially making this game more rare. Then in a few months they will start selling gutted LE's for 150 dlls lol

I wouldn't be surprised, at all. Considering they will price older, used games according to eBay prices, they know full well what happened with the Subsistence LEs. They would be more than happy to sell idiots $125 copies a year from, now.
I know that the three closest GS stores to me are all showing up as having LEs in stock, but they are more than likely the display copies.

I got the last one at my Gamestop.
Konami tends to make their stuff limited unlike Square-Enix and their FF12.

FF12 actually had a collector's edition, not a limited one, but your point is taken.
