Not sure why I would want google search on my PSP but it sounds interesting nonetheless.

Doesn't sound interesting at all. Sounds downright pathetic for a major version bump.

Seems like the massive bureaucracy of Sony is holding their products back yet again. PS3 firmware team doesn't work with the PSP firmware team. PS3 HOME team doesn't work with the PS3 firmware team. What a mess.

Adding a Google search function to the PSP is nothing more than a glorified shortcut. What's stopping you from going to google.com with the browser and searching from there? I must re-state my disappointment.

Updated yesterday. Big 'ol meh. The Google XMB is utterly pathetic. 4.0 is teh sucks.

4.00 has already been decrypted. Wasn't there talk about 4.00 being unhackable a while ago?

But once again, custom firmware tops Sony's offering. 4.00 M33 will include recovery menu access from XMB and, more importantly, a save state feature for UMD games so that you can save at any time.

Sony is really dropping the ball with recent firmwares, especially 4.00...i personally can't wait for dark_alex to release. I don't really need the save anywhere feature but the in-xmb recovery menu would be great.

Seems to be a minor bug fix. Just waiting for E3 to see if any new features come to the Slim :D
