The OP made this thread a mere hour after the DVD forum even existed, so I think we can let this one by.

I own the version that was pulled off the shelves. It's nice but its a little pricey. It's more of a collectors item:

Why did it get pulled?

Since there are 6 of them, you might be able to find a few of them used at Gamestop or EB. I remember buying them and seeing them used at gamestop for 8 dollars a pop.

I think it was pulled because they didn't have clearance for something in one of the segments. I think they would re-release it if enough people wanted it. Again, its by no means a comprehensive as the time life collection. But, it has cool supplements.

alirght, im a huge beavis and butthead fan and i managed to snag all the dvds for them. first off, don't go to ebay, its not worth it for the timelife collection. heres some coupons to help you out:
This for orders over $50, so you better just get both of them to get the 15% off.
Coupon Code: BBM769
For free shipping heres one
Coupon Code: LTCT47
Finally is the free shipping and 10% off, but the minimum order is $65 so you gotta figure that one out.
Coupon Code: JMPPCT or JUMP33
those were the best i could find, but these pop up all the time, theres evenutally going to be a 10% and free shipping im sure.
For the History of Beavis and Butthead, ebay is the only option, i picked up mine for $25, not hard, just got to watch them

I've heard that Time Life couldn't get the licenses to put all the music videos B & B used to watch on their DVD set, so their DVD set is missing those bits where they watch videos. Anybody know if this is true?

the history of beavis and butthead, and the vhs's of the show, none of them have the music videos, the cost of putting them in would make these have to be sold at like $100 each...

my roommate has them. I can ask if he wants to sell them. I am sure they are in perfect condition.

From what I remember it got pulled because of the writing on their shirts.
It said AC/DC and some other bands and such.
From what I have seen of the Timelife release, the writing on their shirts has been edited out so that there is nothing on them.

I've only seen them offered through TimeLife on a commercial. Seemed overpriced IIRC.

Yeah, I'm not really willing to spend $30, so I was looking for less.
Thanks for the help.
