Gaming Posters??

I saw on another site, that Nintendo Power printed a complete book of Gaming Posters from their magazine and it got me thinking, why don't game companies release gaming posters like movie companies release theatrical posters for their movies?

I mean half of the big titles like Gears, God of War, Smash Bros, even Madden could have awesome marketing posters that gamers could buy.

While there are some posters out for Halo, Gears, Guitar Hero and Rock Band, I definitely would like to see more. I've personally been thinking about getting hi-res scans of my favorite cover art and getting it professionally printed.

Also, I wouldn't mind having a few giant printouts of some GameInformer covers. I see them all the time for Time magazine and Sports Illustrated, and I'd really like to get a poster of the GI with Resistance 2 as the cover story.

I guess there is not much of a demand for gaming posters as I thought.
