Is spiderman 3 on the ps3 any good?

i liked spidrman 2 on the ps2 and wanted to know if its worth picking up spiderman 3 on the cheap. any other ps3 game suggestions are appreciated but i already have mgs4, gta 4 and ratchet and clank since i knew they were all awesome games.

I can't recommend the game because they've essentially butchered it. The swing mechanics are nice, but most of the missions are drab and boring. I picked it up day 1 for my son and have vowed never to buy another Spiderman game until I see reviews.

I hope Web of Shadows is good but I'm not holding my breath since Treyarch is still in the driver's seat.

Avoid at all costs. I don't know how it is for other systems, but when I played it, it was super glitchy (unable to complete missions because things like bombs wouldn't show up so I could defuse them), boring fighting, etc. The game is just a straight up glitch.
