I was just wondering what the highest available memory stick for the psp is right now.....i see circiut city has a 16gb 1 for 300 bucks, but is this compatible with the psp yet???

It might be...but that's pretty much a waste of money at this point. Many people use 8gb's for PSP.

16 gigs do work, but you might as well wait a year as it will probably drop down half price. Right now I use an 8 gig and it works perfectly.

You can buy to 8GB sticks for less than half of that price. Wait until the 32GB is released and the 16GB price drops.

16gigs is, as the above posters say, a waste of money.
I got a 4gb from Frys for $32-ish. And then I got a 8gb off ebay (yes, it works and is a full 8gb) for $56 shipped.
It's insane to pay $300 for a 16gb.

I think that the 8 gig is your best bet, especially if your into cough cough cutom firmware and what not

I was able to get a 8GB from a fellow CAG who managed to get one when Best Buy (?) clearance'd them out for $35. Works perfectly, plenty of space for movies (anime) music, etc.

4 Gig works me just fine.
