I'm looking for something cheap that will make the signal stronger on my router. Something like this but hopefully much cheaper.
http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-WGXB102-Powerline-Wireless-Extender/dp/B0002ZH71S

It plugs into an outlet and connects to the router while the other plug goes into the room with poor signal. I need it for my PS3. Thanks to all who reply.

Have you tried constructing a DIY Pringles Yagi Antenna? I got an extra 400ft from mine, using an old dish satellite.

I've read about it on consumerist.com and I might end up having to try it. I like to keep things neat though. Thanks for reminding me of that.
