No downgrading with the slim. Just use a pandora battery and magic memory stick to put CFW on it, and then upgrade to the latest which includes all OFW features, even skype. Then you can have the best of both worlds.

You may want to look around, I found this for $19.99 at Gamecrazy about a month ago. Not all carry it but, I called around and found one that did. $17.99 doesnt seem like that great of a deal.
