Well this is my 1000 post. Wow I still can't believe it, the big 1-0-0-0. Has it been that long since I got here. I still remember my first post which was by accident reposting the Sear's Baldur's Gate 2 deal. I just want to thank CAG and Mr. Cheapy D for all the money I've saved, as well as all the advice I've gotten here. O, I would also like to thank all the friends that I have made from and CAG, and learned of the great vastness of the gaming community, that there are out there others like me with not a lot of money that want cheap games. So here's to another 1,000 posts, 1,000 laughs and 1,000 deals.

Okay, I don't want to rain on any parades, but I say we put in a rule that there should be no topics made about post counts or other stupid, personal questions. These topics are really bringing the quality of the boards down and are getting more frequent by the day.

I didn't mean for my initial post here to come off so harsh, but it did. For that, I apologize because I don't want to come across as a jerk.

Yes, everyone is entitled to post whatever they feel like as long as CheapyD feels like it's okay. But I was just pointing a growing trend out and thought we, as a collective group, should agree to put a stop to it before it gets out of hand.

These type of posts are the same thing that began to happen on the Sega.com boards when I used to go there. Eventually, it go so out of hand, the mods would wipe the boards clean every few months.

I like stupid and pointless shit as much as the next guy, but seriously, do we really need to know when every person hits 100, 500 or 1,000 posts or how big your shoe size is? I dunno maybe it is, but I just don't see it. Maybe some of you do, but I really don't want to argue about.

Maybe we should agree to disagree and let CheapyD handle it if and when he sees fit.

Again, I'm sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes, but I just felt something needed to be said.

Last time I checked, there were only 65 1kers. Compare that to the 500-999 Cheap ass all star's 94, the cheap ass veterans 122, the Cheap ass regular's 409 and large amount of Cheap ass noobs (about 4804 or so) I don't think that there are a lot of 1ker's. this is not including the people that have not even done one post which is many thousands. Besides, what's the big deal if there are more people with 1k, people should be happy that other people are trying to be a part of this community, instead of just mooch off of it. People got angry on me i had my first post, and they get angry on me when I make a thousand. OH GOD PLEASE PLEASE don't tell me that CAG is becoming like GameFaqs, because it seems like it more and more.

Edit: I looked at the Statistics again and it seems that with all of the 1kers, they only comprise less than 1 percentage of the CAG population.

I'd agree with you onthe 523 post or 103 etc, but the recent 1000 ones I think have been good, a few contests, (heck I won one so maybe thats why I like em) some funny things done to 'celebrate' them. I like it.
