Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom question

Me and my friend are about a 1/3 of the way through the game and we haven't found a shop. Where in the world are the shops/merchants in this game? What's the point of the money if you can't spend it? HELP!

I think you can buy stuff at the save orbs.. or you can hit select and I think you can buy stuff there, I can't recall off hand.

Yep. All transactions are at the save orbs. There are no traditional shops that I can remember in the game. And usually the save orb caters to your level, so you don't drool over arcane battle axe +200 or some such. ;)
