Info on Tablet PCs?

Hi hi CAGers! So, I need a laptop for grad school. My old Dell Inspiron still works okay, as I dump most everything on my external HD, but it's heavy.

My girlfriend bought herself a Toshiba tablet PC (where you 'write' on it) as a graduation present, and it's totally cute. I'd like to get a light one myself. Any recommendations or deals about?
