good luck, took me a few days and i ended up walking into a local tiger direct for a 3800+ x2... they had nothing higher in stock.

What other stores sell processors? I don't have a tiger direct near me so that doesn't help O_O

Good luck finding one. Even Newegg doesn't really carry Socket 939 anymore, and Newegg has everything.

I've got an Opteron 185 in my PC that I love... I don't know how difficult it would be to find, but it's a great proc...

Just got a 4200+ for $125 and free shipping off of ebay. That's a good deal, right?

I don't really want to buy new memory, but I'm going to upgrade my motherboard instead.

Socket 939 is too limited. I hope its not to late to return it and do the same.
