I appologize ahead of time if this is a double post, but my original reply didn't show up (or will later after I post this). Anyways, I remembered something that I wanted to add.

I won one of these DVD contests a while ago (The Living and the Dead). I haven't watched it yet, but that's besides the point. In the email notification these contests say you will be notified by email if you win. I never got any email saying I won and just got a package in the mail one day.

Thanks for posting this by the way, and yes, I entered. Free movie, bad or good, is still free.

Sometimes Fangoria forwards the list of winners on to the distribution company for them to send the DVDs out. So, the service (or lack of) probably varies from contest to contest.
