View Full Version : Anyone watching the olympics and this judging controversy right now?

Something crazy is going on right now with a score for a gymnastics routine. I just had it on tv and heard a ton of screaming in the background. Kept going for 5 minutes so finally I turn around and apparently two judges gave some guy a ridiculously low score (The Canadian judge was one culprit) and now some other authority figure is talking to the judges about it... very, very strange.

olympics not in america this year who cares anymore they need real sports like shooting and killing halo multiplayer for 3 days straight. who cares who can swim the fastest or who can run fastest who boxes the best.

Ah it was the Malaysian Judge that messed up as well. Hmm and they barely altered their ranks. The irony? He ended up in 3rd place (at the moment) regardless of the score change, and the announcers are furious claiming he had a gold medal routine. They've gone as far as to say the judges lack respect for the sport. The crowd is booing, the announcer "This is NOT right." Wow this is down right bizarre, I hope I'm not the only one watching this.

Ya, im watching it. Im glad the Russian tried to calm the fans. That was nice.
Is there full frontal [ladytype] nudity? Otherwise, I'm not changing the channel.

That was nuts, those fans are bigger a-holes than wrestling fans. WHAT?
At least the Russian with the low score already has 12 medals from previous games.

Regardless if Nemov has 12 medals, that was a memorable performance, he did six release skills and I only had the step on the landing. He was robbed.

Yeah I agree with you there, he should of at least gotten a medal.
