Favorite PS3 Game in 2008, So Far

Basically, in this thread, you select which PS3 game is your favorite this year, so far. Although I kind of have a feeling two certain games will get most of the votes, but it will be interesting to see the results.

So far, I'd have to say MGS4 is the best game of 2008, although games like Hot Shots Golf: OoB, SingStar, and Burnout Paradise come VERY close.

I pretty much used the higher rated games on PS3 this year in the poll, except for GRID and Condemned 2 (I haven't heard too many at all buy them on PS3).

I'd say Burnout Paradise, followed closely by DMC4. :) I suspect that'll change once I get my hands on Soul Calibur IV.. :)

I have to say GTA4.

I went ahead and voted MGS4. In ways I wanted to say SingStar because it surprised me the most, but MGS4 truly is one of the best IMO.

It's weird how I thought that GTAIV was the pinnacle of Videogame evolution until 2 months later when MGS4 just blows everything to smithereens.

Pretty easy choice considering I played the 360 version of GTA4. Burnout Paradise is freaking amazing as well.

Too early for me to definitively decide between GTA4 and MGS4, but I think MGS4 will win out. The set pieces were just incredible, and I'm finding there's a lot more game to it on my second/third playthroughs. The first time I was kind of overwhelmed.

I choose Singstar, since singing has always been my first love... I think I like singing as much as I like video games, so the two together is just perfect for me... downloadable songs ensures me that this game won't ever get old, and for social gatherings... This game is a must! ;)

Metal Gear Solid 4. If it hadn't come out in '08, I would pick PJMonsters. I didn't care for GTA IV or DMC4. I really wanted to love both. They just aren't for me. :(

I kind of do have a bit of a terrible singing voice, though I try my very best to NOT sound abysmal. :lol:
When singing, I just have fun with it and not take myself too seriously... When my PS Eye arrives, I'm going to try to make some really cool and unique videos. :D

I have a terrible singing voice too, but that doesn't stop me from singing. ;) MGS4 is the best package overall, but SingStar is SOOOOO much fun. I seriously play that more than any other PS3 game I have.

Well, I'll admit I almost didn't put Battlefield as an option. I considered GRID and Condemned 2, but next to no one it seems has played them on PS3 (just look at the threads). I thought about GT5P, but people would have screamed demo (I like it, although short), so I didn't put that up either. I wasn't going to use Vegas 2 since the PS3 port is quite terrible I hear.

I thought DMC4 was pretty good, but it wasn't one of my very favorites. I play it on Human mode though. :-P I still need to beat it.
