IIRC Grid just hit $40 at CC, or was it $30? 360 only though.

I've always hated the fact that whenever they create a new series (ie budokai --> tenk ----> and now Burst) it gives them an "excuse" to go back to the small rosters. for that reason alone i wont be getting any "next gen" dbz games in the near future.

GRID is an amazing game. But there are only really two things that are somewhat similar in both games: Great Presentation (menus, music, etc.) and Damage Models. Other than those two, they are completely different styles of racing.
I love rally racing, but I enjoy GRID a lot more, especially the online racing. You actually get to race against others on the track (as opposed to time trials in DiRT). This game also just seems to be a lot more intense for some reason.
Definitely worth it if you are interested in arcade style racing!

They're completely different games. They have the same amount of polish (they both look amazing) and the loading screens still display stats and stuff like that. The cars handle way differently, as they should - one being rally and one being street, of course.
Grid is amazing though. I've been playing it a lot lately. If you're into arcade racers, you'll definitely get your money's worth. I have to agree about how the game can get pretty intense - on some tracks with certain cars, you're blazing through (because you have to, to keep up with the rest of the pack) and one false move ends in totaling your car. The drifting can be a lot of fun once you get the hang of it, and playing online is pretty decent - there usually isn't much lag.

Budokai and Burst Limit were made by Dimps. "Tenkaichi" (or better known as Sparking! in Japan) was made by Spike. So if anything, blame Dimps for going with the small rosters. Spike had done nothing but heavily increase the rosters within each game of the Sparking! series.
