Wireless Sensor Bar for Nintendo Wii (http://www.eforcity.com/gninwiixsb01.html)= $2.49 code WIIGOWIRELESS (2000 uses)
I move my Wii from my tv to my pc monitor (component in) alot and for $2.50 if I hate the fact that it uses batteries I can always mod it.
for anyone with a Rebel Xt/Xti they have a cheap battery ...
Canon NB-2LH compatible Li-Ion Battery (http://www.eforcity.com/bcannb2lxx04.html) = $4.99 code CANLIBATT

$2.49 shipped for me AC. Great deal. I can't think of when I might need this but at this price I'll have an extra just in case.

Ordered one for $2.49 - perfect timing, since I was planning on taking the Wii w/ me when I head up north to visit my extended family in a couple of weeks and didn't want to schlep the wired sensor bar.

Does anyone else have serious problems with the sensor bar recognizing the controller?

I tested mine out today with a lil RE4 and Metroid Prime and it works just fine. When you're using it how far away are you? I'm roughly 6 to 7 feet away and I couldn't tell the difference between the two. If you have a digicam or a digital camcorder you can look at the LEDs with it to see if they're working or not. One other thing you can try is adjusting the sensitivity in your Wii's settings. That's all I can think of atm, let me know how it works out for ya.

I typically sit around 3-4 feet away. I tried the sensor bar out with RE4 and the crosshair only moves when I stand up. I will use your suggestions and see if they are any help. Thanks!
I don't really trust eForcity - products they sell are usually pretty flimsy (as you'd expect for such low prices.) They also engage in some shady business practices

It almost sounds like there's something blocking the line of sight from the sensor bar to the wii remote, it may be wireless but it's still infrared. :D

It's says now "the coupon WIIGOWIRELES is not good for any of the items in your cart!" now even with the right thing (only) in the cart. Guess it's dead.

It's been dead for a week now - if I remember correctly, it sold out the morning it was posted (6/30). The subject line should be changed/post moved.
