Say it ain't so! I liked the MK series (minus, MK:DA it was too combo based) and I would have liked to see it on the Cube.
I still refuse to buy another system until there is a another price drop. (I lived with the N64 until the $99 Cube price drop)

I agree. MK lost its appeal years ago. I'm glad midway took its iconic license milking elsewhere.

Why hate on MK? The other fighting game franchises have stayed around forever and people still seem to like Street Fighter and the like. Oh well, to each a scone.

Hellz yeah, I never liked MK even the original, I didn't get what the big hype over that game was. Of course I also didn't like Tekken.

and thats a bad thing???? [no MK 6 for GC]
i never liked MK, i was always a streetfighter fan, and i still am. what we really need is some KOF for the cube. maybe a guilty gear game. but if not, thats what i have my DC for.
rival schools 3 would be PERFECT on the cube.

I agree, RS 3 would be splendivious on the 'Cube. MK 6 on the GC is where it needs to be, it has better visuals than the PS2 and I don't have an Xbox. Damn it Midway! And I think DenisD is just here to annoy the bejesus out of everybody.

I don't like Midway's decision at all. Now my choices are buy their game to play on my outdated system, or buy another console just to play MK
( like that's gonna happen). I really don't get it though.
MKDA went players choice.

i think its a bad decision, while my main console is ps2, i know alot of peoples mainconsole is gc, and alot of the mini games in the new mk look like alot og fun, so it kinda sucks...

Yeah... same thing with the new Crash game, I believe it also sold well on the Cube, but the sequel has only been announced for the other two systems. It seems as though the third-party developers are ignoring the previous games' sales as well as the fact that the Cube had an excellent holiday season and many new owners will be looking for games to buy.
Not that either game will necessarily be worth buying (as the last Crash game was nothing great), but many third-party developers seem to be shooting themselves in the foot in terms of available audience.

Mortal Kombat is the best fighting franchise. It sucks the gc isn't getting the next, but GC pretty much sucks at selling 3rd party software nonexclusive software. I think, the only one that I have is SSX Tricky, and I got that for like $3.
