SOCOM delayed?

I'm surprised nobody's posted about this yet.

Several sites are reporting that the PS3 version of the new SOCOM is being delayed until Oct. 14th.

Yeah, I think it did get delayed. I saw in the reserve computer at GS that it's slated for an October release.

I went ahead and preordered the game with headset for $60 from gs.com incase the price goes up to $80 like rumored.

I figured, because I remember the progress of the game was a bit behind. I'm just glad the developers are taking feedback VERY seriously before they release it.

I'm going to bet a certain PS3 forum is having meltdowns over this right now.

The last time a game went up on me they honored the lower price, but that was a little while ago. If they raise it to $80 on me then I'll just cancel.
