I am not sure if this has been posted or I just missed it, but I came across a page to register for xbox play testing and surveys. You can win free stuff so I figured it is worth a try.

That's what I am assuming wildwop. It would be awesome to live in either wa or tx for a shot at some game testing.

I signed up for this a month or two ago and Ive gotten nothing from them. However, I dont live Austin or Redmond so that could be part of the problem.

It's also not Xbox play testing... its Microsoft play testing. Which means PC as well as Xbox.

Its not as glamorous as you think gentleman. i know some game testers here in the Bay Area. They had to play through some horrible games. Also, there were several complaints of hand cramps, low pay, etc.
So I just wanted to let you know there is a dark side to game testing.

Thanks. I signed up. I also left a comment when they asked where I heard this from, saying I found it on cheapassgamer.com.

I joined, it's not like I can't say no if they want me to play something crappy.

That whole "Redmond, WA (U.S.A.) or in Austin, TX (U.S.A.)" would be a problem for me though...since I live in Florida....maybe I can get a job at Tiburan :(
