I usually use SUPER © for my video conversions.
I used to use that, but it seemed really slow.

I think PSPVC is the best, all I ever do is just find the video and click convert. I don't have to mess around with the settings except maybe the volume and my video will convert the way I want it to with the correct aspect ratio intact.

XviD4PSP is the only thing I've tried that I'm happy with, so far. PSPVC worked, but it didn't have enough control over the options for me. Anyone tried encoding at 720x480 for full screen component output? :)

I prefer this program I've been using for a while. It's called PSP Video 9.

I tried pspvideo9 before as well. It worked well, but it seemed to take a long time to convert IIRC.
Bascially I work with smaller files though. The only things I have converted are some music videos, a public domain episode of the Three Stooges, and the JLU episode Grudge Match that I ripped from my on DVD. I can't remember what program I used for the JLU ep, but I could tell there was some slight ghosting. I prefer music videos just because they are short and fast to work with.

I use RedKawa (PSPVideo9).
Not all the videos work though and it sucks for anime files with the mkv container.

I use Xvid4PSP you can have DVD quality video with the correct setting I also love it because unlike PSPVideo9 that doesnt handle mkv well this does.
You can add subtitles get rid of black bars and more its the best IMO.
