Yeah, yeah, it's the cool thing to do for all you 20-somethings to look down on these types of games. But this particular one is a decent title for the kiddies. My kids have it and play it every so often. In fact, my 8 year-old was playing it in the car today as I took him on a Gamestop/Target run ;). If you are looking for a gift for a pre-teen this is not a bad choice.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against these types of games. I still play some of the more random, kiddy games like this, and love them. Heck, I still proudly tell people I play Pokemon. It's just that the Petz titles seem to be lacking some of what games like Nintendogs and the others had, and as such are a little funny to me.

make sure you hide your systems in the trunk or under the seats. My cousins kids system just got ripped off last week at the mall.
