I own Heavenly Sword, haven't played it, and have heard its good. However, its notoriously short from what I hear as well, so it might be worth just paying $8 and renting it somewhere if you don't plan on hanging on to it forever. Just FYI. I had lots of store credit and bought it with the last coupon.

They don't always have used pages if a game is newer or if there are not alot of used copies. I would still expect them to have a page for it though. I actually checked for that and MGS4 and couldn't find them on the website. I went out to t he local store and lunch and picked up GT:Prologue though. It was 34.99 -> 22.75 after edge and coupon.

I suggest calling a local store and having them check the inventory list for local stores that might have it in stock. Then call a head to that location and have them hold it for you. That is how I scored BF:BC yesterday for 360.

Picked up Assassin's Creed and Conan. Almost picked up Def Jam Icon but then saw a "Days of Summer Sale" newsed copy for $9 (used was $20) which is an excellent price for the game IMO. All 3 games are complete and in good shape.

Yea, you can print it somewhere else or try to give them the code and see if they'll take it. Big Time YMMV but you never know. I wouldn't waste your time driving over there though if you don't have a printed coupon.

From my experience most employees there are not even aware that they send out these weekly coupons via email. They usually look at them and have to ask the manager what to do with them. They rarely scan so they usually have to key in the code manually. I can only imagine the looks I'd get if I told them to key in a coupon code without having a physical copy.

Just got back from my raids, the only thing I couldn't find that I wanted was Metal Gear Solid 4. And the manager at one said they had 3 used copies on Wednesday that must have all sold yesterday, because no one bought one today. GRRR! At least those suckers overpaid, LOL.

Between this and the latest Circuit City clearance, I dropped some coin.

First location:

Folklore and Heavenly Sword, and I got the manager to manually add in the coupon on Heavenly Sword, SWEETNESS. It came out to $18.75.

Folklore was around the same price. Since this was at the ghetto mall near to my office, there were grubby paw marks on the two discs. However, they were thankfully complete and mint otherwise, after wiping them down gently they were once again flawless.

Then I went across the street from to Circuit City, grabbed PS3 Lost and Wii Nights and Obscure, $13.57 each. Couldn't find Dragonquest Monsters Joker, oh well.

Next I hit the second closest Gamestop (thank God in LA there's one every mile or so), again no MGS4, but I got Ninja Gaiden Sigma and GTA4.

On another note, someone must have been really scamming them with some discounted flipping fodder, because both locations had literally 50+ copies of Assassin's Creed and Turning Point used. Were these clearanced out/dirt cheap somewhere?

I would have to recomend Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted as the two you should get. Resistance is decent but not spectacular, where as the other two are two of the best games on PS3 hands down.

I ended up going to a third store where an very cool clerk overrode the still-not-in-system price. I told him about my runaround and he couldn't believe it. I was eventually contacted by the two DMs (the stores were in different zone) and one just gave the stock apology and the other offered to honor the price - gee, thanks, Mister! - but I've learned to print out these ads since. That these goth trolls refused to accept coupons is even lamer.

I've been wanting Heavenly Sword, but even $27 - how are you guys getting it for $25? - is a bit high for a two-nighter? After being 60 hours into GTA IV (SP only so far), the idea of paying a comparable prices fora fraction of the play time is lame. Besides, I'm so backlogged on games that adding another to the to-play pile is stupid.

Wish I had signed up for the discount card before, would probably get my money's worth for it now. I spent a total of $41 at the first gamestop and then a total of $90 for the last 3 games. Haven't been able to play as of yet however. Is warhawk any good?

That is one huge mistake i think sony made. Not including a headset with the system. I realize that they are cheap bastards, just look at the video cable they included, but not having the ability to talk in team orientated games really kills the fun.

The again sometimes I would prefer silence to what I get on xbox live...

Picked up Assassin's Creed, Lair and an Edge Card for $53.67 after tax in CA. I just finished downloading the 147MB update. Looks like the analog controls in the options menu is OFF as default. I'll write back a little later after I play this a bit.

I was told 7 days. Also, I've seen a few and also a few at BB. Also, I'm sure this has been said, but Bioshock is 19.99 at BB used. Every store I've been to has had multiple copies.

condemned is a weird one. They seem to be price at 34.99, they raised it at the game days sale is what a GS employee told me. But if you can find one that has the $26.99 price on it, they will give you that price. Same deal with viking.

I purchased EoJ and it came with the camera and mat, in fact they told me the story of how the person who traded it in first came without the camera and was declined and then came back with it. My BBV accepted it without the camera, so i something I have no use for... will gamestop take them?

Yeah, used controllers, in general, are pretty hit or miss. A slightly scratched game will work, but having loose analogs or buttons that are losing their responsiveness simply isn't worth it.
