Personally, I understand why people want things kept in the appropriate topics, however who really has time to go through every single topic on the board? I can think of several times in which I didn't realize certain things were going on because they were relegated to a topic with either a ton of pages or no description of what was on sale in the title (clearance sale, clearance thread, game deals, ad and so on).

I'd like a bit of a happy medium with spectacular or particularly noteworthy deal being listed in the title of posts, that way people are less likely to feel the need to repost them as separate items and everyone is more informed.

You can get all of those games used at GS right now for 25% (35 if you have an Edge card) till tomorrow (thurs 7/17). Should come out to $90 (+ /- $5) total before taxes. I plan on getting NCAA and Lego Indy (can't find that game used anywher).

actually, resistance should be going GH soon (i believe the week of the 27th), and it's been hoped that uncharted would go GH as well quickly after that. COD4 probably won't anytime soon, and i dunno about the show either.

This is dead. It was B1G1 now it appears to be no deals at all. I had 2 copies of prologue in my cart, total was 40.00. I added a konami title to get free shipping, and all of a sudden my b1g1 was gone. Then i removed the konami and started over and b1g1 was gone. All of those good titles are out of stock because of the messup that happened on their site where it was giving everybody B1G1 Free instead of B1G1 half off. TRU got hammered with tons or orders, many people ordering multiples of the big named games just to see if they could make a quick turn-around if any of the orders slip through. So you see, they didn't really pull all of the orders on purpose, but people all have them on order and until TRU cancels them all (or actually does ship some of them), they're going to remain out of stock. My guess is that many of the orders will be cancelled on Monday if anything...as mine is still processing.

And also to go along with the whole Speedy TRU ads, I will say that TRU does have an ad for 7/27 though there are no videogames even mentioned (mostly extra 20% off clearance mentioned).

The 1st game I ordered said it shipped and I was charged thru Paypal=
then they turned around and canceled Orange Box and said I wouldn't be charged, but that was the free game. I called them and they said call back
after 3-5 days, so I started a dispute with Paypal, but I think I got screwed.:bomb:

You can return the game you did get (although since you bought it through Paypal you might need to mail it back or whatever).

I would never use Paypal as they don't protect you, and are notorious for screwing their customers, but in this case I wouldn't think it would matter since you don't need to deal with Paypal (I wouldn't have done a dispute...unless you can't return the game).

I have received 3 of 6 so far. On invoice sent with the games one said you can not return to the store but then another said to call and ask if they had the game in stock and they might do it.

I love bringing the controversy back into a dying thread, so does anyone have any thoughts on whether or not they'll allow you to swap a copy of one PS3 game with another if purchased through the Buy 1, Get 1 glitch? I know it's worked during previous sales, and if the game was the non-free item on the receipt, it seems like it shouldn't be impossible to do a straight swap for, say, Soul Calibur IV ... and this isn't screwing the company because it's an equal value trade. Thoughts?

You can do it as long as your exchanging the game that was paid for. The free game has a value of $0 so that is what your going to get for it if you try to exchange that one..
