Best Buy YMMV clearance DE/SE PA stores

I was quite surprised to see some of the local stores finally taking part in these YMMV clearances that never seem to happen in the area. Here's a quick summary of what I saw in the last week or so:

Wilmington, DE (Kirkwood Highway):
Had a small section of clearance games marked 50% off located in the back, between the game and DVD sections. Highlights were Assassin's Creed LE (360 & PS3) for $34.99, Luminous Arc (DS) for $17.50, and some others that weren't particularly noteworthy.

Christiana, DE:
Had an even smaller section of clearance games. Assassin's Creed LE was $45.99 last I checked and there was not much otherwise.

Wilmington DE (Concord Pike):
Checked on Friday and they were not participating in the YMMV clearance. All of the clearance games were on the shelves as normal.

King of Prussia, PA:
Definitely the best store in the area. All the YMMV clearance games were $9.99 each and located in a display near the front entrance. I ended up getting Dragon Quest Swords (Wii), Samurai Warriors Katana (Wii), Ultimate Duck Hunting (Wii), and Godzilla Unleashed (Wii) for $9.99 each. At this time (on Monday) they only had Wii and 360 games in the display. I wouldn't be surprised if they started adding games for other systems as well.

Springfield, PA:
Slight improvement from a few weeks ago when it was $5 or $10 off the clearance titles. Now most were 50% off or greater. I ended up getting Harvey Birdman (PSP) for $4.99 and My Horse & Me (Wii) for $4.99. Other notables were Halo 3 Legendary Edition for $39.99, Halo 3 CE for $29.99, and Culdcept Saga for $19.99. By the way, the display is near the entrance directly facing the main road.

Only a few. Fatal Inertia was very tempting, but i just bought it from Amazon.com. I think a couple of the Cabela's games were there (definitely Trophy Bucks). Beowulf was also $9.99 and I was considering it at that price.

You don't happen to remember any of the 360 games do you?
I picked up All-Pro Football 2K8 there about a week ago for $5 (some copies of the game had a $9.99 price tag, others had $5, cashier had to enter it manually).

Looks like I missed a few goodies.
I was there tonight and picked up Alien Syndrome and Boogie PS2. Not sure if im going to keep Boogie but the usb microphone that i think should work for Rock Band 360 is tempting

They put out Halo 3 Legendary Editions for $50, and a bunch of ps2 games.

I went back earlier this week to the KOP store and had some more decent pickups. They finally added some PS3, PS2, and PSP games. Still missing any DS games as far as I can see. I got:

Bladestorm (PS3) - $9.99
Conan (PS3) - $9.99
Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power (PS2) - $9.99
Crush (PSP) - $9.99

Also went back to the Springfield store on my way home from work. Everything was pretty much the same there. Culdcept Saga at $19.99 was still there tempting me but I passed it up again.

I guess I did luck out. I usually only hit that store about once a week during my lunch break, usually on Monday or Tuesday. Still waiting for them to put out the DS titles...

I can remember Assassin's Creed, Lost in Blue 3, golden compass, boogie, magical starsign.....
I got a copy of Nobunaga's Ambition yesterday but I would have grabbed a Conan if i saw it (or Dragon Quest swords for that matter)

I also grabbed Resident Evil Essentials, Super Smash Bros Melee, and Samurai Warriors 2 Xtreme for $10 each - last copies though.

Yeah, I stopped by the KOP store this week and noticed they put out the DS and Gamecube titles. For the DS I picked up Lost in Blue 3 and Assassin's Creed but that was really it as the rest weren't that great. All the good Gamecube stuff was gone (somebody got the copy of TMNT that was sitting forever in that store) but there was still a copy of Catwoman for $4.99 left.

Unless they add anymore new titles, it's pretty much slim pickin's at the KOP store now.

For the person asking about the Springfield store, I haven't been there in over a week but the clearance section at that time was located by the front entrance (it's nowhere near the game section). A week ago they still had a decent selection of titles at half off and some for more than half off (Dirt for 360 was $19.99 but for PS2 it was $39.99).

Here's a small update on some of these locations:

King of Prussia, PA:
I went back on Thursday and noticed they put out more $9.99 PS3 games. For $9.99 each I picked up Viking and Blacksite:Area 51. The following PS3 games were also $9.99: Clive Barker's Jericho, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Conflict: Denied Ops, The Bigs, and some sports games

Wilmington, DE (Kirkwood Hwy):
I went back today and picked up Stranglehold: CE (360) for $9.99 after the 50% off. Luminous Arc (DS) is still there for $17.49 in case anyone is interested. That's a heck of a price for a decent Atlus strategy RPG.
