Price drop on 40GB?

Hey there! I've decided on getting a PS3 and I wanted to know if anyone's heard if Sony was going to give it a price drop at E3 like Microsoft will with the 360 so I can wait a day or two. Thanks in advance.

Sony's chief financial officer Nobuyuki Oneda told investors on Friday that the company was more focused on achieving profitability than increasing PS3 market share.

"Our strategy is not to sell more quantity for PS3 but to concentrate on profitability," said Oneda, according to Smart Money.
"Our plan is not to reduce the price."

It's probably not going to happen for a decent while since Sony still loses a decent sum of money on each system sold, even at the 40gb level.

I was kind of waiting for the same thing myself which is why I wasn't going to buy the 80GB bundle, then sell the MGS4 because I already have the LE. Looks like playing MGS4 will have to be postpone until I get my own or borrow someone else's ps3. Boo.
