That's still a great price for someone not wanting to buy every session.

Awesome deal! I know I paid way more for this (I have the whole series, movie, and best essions). Awesome for people that haven't checked out the series. You'll want to get the rest after you see this!

Heh, Mushroom Samba. Personally, I have burned fansubs on CD, as I cant afford the exorbitant domestic anime prices ($120 for 13 Hellsing eps???). This definitely peaks my interest, however. I think Ill pick it up
Bump cuz it's still that price.

I already have that Amazon Exclusive boxset thing from a few years ago, but, this is a great price for a "best-of" collection.
What all episodes are on here?

I may go for this, though I should probably be saving up for the entire series, as I love it.

Best Sessions has a new 5.1 mix for the home theater aficionados out there.

I really wish Bandai released a brick collection of the series. I've been waiting forever to see the series but I want to get it on the cheap.

Just saw this series a few days ago. Loved it, wish it was longer though.

Why isn't Pierrot Le Fou on this set? That was always my favorite episode. Does anyone know anywhere to get a good deal on a boxset of the entire series?

I just picked up the entire series for around $22 on amazon.com... Not much more for every single episode!

I just looked at amazon.com, but I couldn't find what you were talking about for $22.

That's almost certainly a bootleg set you just bought since a single dvd would cost around if not more than $22.

He probably picked up a bootleg (it's probably 3 dvd's with all the episodes) from a private seller on amazon. Probably this (http://animeniacs.com/index.php?act=catalog&subact=d_item&item=DVD0032).
I have the Limited Edition box set myself. :P Not really interested in picking up the Best Sessions at all.

I've seen those 3-DVD bootlegs on Ebay. I've been looking for boxsets of Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and some other anime shows. And whenever I look on ebay the only thing they have are those 3-DVD sets. I know their bootleg, but would you know how bad the quality of the DVD's are?

I only have a couple of these sets for a few series (like Inuyasha for instance), and honestly, the quality is fine IMO. Once in awhile there might be a spelling error on the sub, but sound and video are pretty close to the R1's. If you do want to get any, make sure the company that makes them is Fx. There are a couple others that aren't as good (like MI). And check the languages. There are ones that are just the Japanese dialogue with English subtitles and others that have both the Japanese and English dub. It depends on what you want. Also, you know what collections have been made based on what is out on DVD. (Example, not all of the Inuyasha series is dubbed, so the English collections are coming out as they are dubbed.)
Hope that helps.

I was trying to stay away from buying them before, but I'll probably pick up a set now to see if their worth it. Thanks.

If you aren't going to support the domestic anime industry, just steal them. Seriously. It's better to illegally download them than support the dubious crimeworld of bootleg manufacturers.
