Playstation Eye games from PSN

Having just picked up Eye of Judgement from Wal*Mart for $29.92 (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=189756) .

I'm interested in some of the smaller download games for the Eye .

Has anyone bought any of these ?

If so , please tell me your impressions of them , thanks !

Prett dismal to be honest.

Mesmerize and Aquatopia are basically tech demos. Just don't even bother with them.

I purchased Trials of Topoq and while it's more of a game than the others it's still more of a glorified tech demo. You use motion to guide a 'ball' along a set path avoiding dangers.

I don't have Operation Creature whatever, but have heard that while probably the best of the bunch still isn't worth the entry fee.

To be honest I love my eye for the other stuff, like video chat, singstar integration, Burnout Paradise. Problem is all the eye stuff was available close to the launch and we haven't seen anything new in forever. Makes me wonder if they're still doing anything ...

I was wondering about this too, it's a shame there aren't more decent games because from EOJ it is pretty clear that the eye can be very accurate.

I think I'll get the aquarium one for my daughter to mess around with .

I have yet to buy anything. I downloaded the free Eye Create software which was ok to record some simple video of my daughter. I may get the Aquarium as a cool screensaver.

I think i have 'played' each of these 'games' once or twice at most.

Really none of them are that fun to play with. If they actually worked as a screen saver, then it would be great, but tori emaki (sp?) does not even work as an interesting screen saver.

I do feel that the concept for the games is sound, but so far, nothing has been good enough to make it more than a novelty.

I use it mainly for video chat and burnout/singstar.

How is Tori Emaki? the video I saw for the Eye made it look pretty neat.

Gloried Screensaver. I have that and the umm fish one. It wouldn't be so bad if you could have it on your desktop with or without camera, and be your background, that would be really cool actually. But you have to start up the game and have a camera attach or it won't play. All it is, is an interactive screensaver. I thought Tori Emaki would be more interesting but it isn't. You can guide the birds and it goes through different backgounds, and if you don't do anything they don't do anything at all.

Hmm I might get some of these for when my 2 year old niece comes over.. lol I had hooked up eye create and let her see herself on TV with the blur effects and she thought it was cool.. These other "games" should keep her busy for a while, lol
