Legit copy of Disgaea 2?

I recently bought a copy of Disgaea 2 off ebay and I didn't notice at first but theres something weird about the cover. There's some weird yellow markings on Adell's(the main character in the center of the cover) face/collar. There's also a line going down his face. You can see the markings but you probably can't tell from this picture that it looks like theres another eye under his eye. None of the other copies of D2 I've seen look like this. Do you think this was a misprint issue or possible bootleg? Seller seemed pretty legit but you never know...I might just be paranoid though but I find it odd no other copies I've seen looks like this.

They're not. I have the game now and its more noticeable after having received it.

You need some better pics.

And if you think this copy of Disagea 2 is a RARE OMFG MISPRINT NEVER BEFORE SEEN and is worth $100000000, I think you're going to be sadly disappointed...

That's a damn good bootleg cover art if it is, but again, can't tell since your pic isn't that great. Another possibility is a stain and a reseal.

I just checked my copy of the game I bought at K Mart. I do not have those same yellow marking on mine.

Wouldn't the game not work if it was a bootleg? I guess you haven't opened it though.

I bought this on Clearance like 4-6 months back I think. for 12 bucks. No part 1.

the funny thing is that it is not shrink wrapped by one of those machines that people can buy. it looks like it is the real wrapping from the factory. It must be a printing mistake.

Its not a stain. Sorry if the pic was hard to see it was the seller's not mine. Anyway I just decided to open it up and try it. It seems to play fine. I've only had a PS2 since last December so I wasn't too sure but from what I've heard pirated games don't work on unmodded PS2s right?

Yes, it's impossible for a bootleg to work on a non-modded PS2.

As someone mentioned, it most likely is a printing mistake.
