Gears of War is also a must have AAA title, especially if your into shooters. This is my favorite game BY FAR. After 2 years Im still playing it, I cant say the same about any other game. The newer edition with all the maps included is out, for $40 (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=71542) or you could find the older version used for way less on ebay or on CAG. People also say BioShock is also a must play, however I can not recomend it. I personally found it dull and repetitive, but I seem to be the only one.

Half Life 2: The Orange Box ($30 street)
Call of Duty IV ($40 street)
Gears of War ($40 street)*
BioShock ($30 street)
Condemned: Criminal Origins ($10 street)*
Dead Rising ($25 street)

And if you're into great gaming on the cheap, there's tons of original Xbox games, about $5 street each.

* I can sell the games marked with asterisks to you for that price. And if you're interested in OG Xbox games, PM me.

Dead Rising has been a greatest hit for some time now, and retails new at $20, not $25.

I thought Platinum Hits retailed at $30.

EBgames is pricing their copies at $25 used, $30 new but not in stock. Same with circuit city, though they have new copies in stock. Wal-Mart is selling for $30. Best Buy is selling their Platinum Hits version with hideous box-art for $30. Target is pricing theirs at $30 as well.

When I say "street", I mean the best price the game can be reasonably obtained for. i.e. You could get better deals, but you should aim for that price. Most of those were guestimates.

Crackdown. GTA with superpowers and fewer cutscenes.

COD 2 @ 3, each is less than $10 on amazon.com brand new. Good games for a very cheap price.

If you haven't already played them, Halo 1 for $10 at best buy, and Halo 2 for $20 at various stores. If you care only for multiplayer I would skip the other Halo's, but if you follow the campaign story you need to play all three.

F.E.A.R. good shooter, but a little dated graphics $20 at various places.
