Didn't know where to post this since it's not a deal. I'm wondering why the price has gone this high for a 4-year-old PS2 game. Even Gamestop (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=34305) has it cheaper. I've never known amazon.com to do this kind of thing, even if the game is rare I guess?

EDIT: Oh, that listing on Gamestop.com is for a used copy; figures.

I think this was a dotd for either 30 or 40. Its a reprint I believe.

No, it was regular price at $40. I know, i bought it then. ATLUS must've told them to raise it, or maybe the demand was too high. Either way, still haven't opened mine. :)

Yea, I, too, found it weird that Amazon is selling it for $60 now. Play-Asia is sold out of their stock, but they still have the reprint of Digital Devil Saga 1.

I wonder when Amazon is going to get ahold of the DDS1 reprint.

Yeah, this was reprinted (without the music CD) a couple of months ago, selling at $40. All the copies Gamestop received of the new sealed reprint, it immediately gutted and sold as "used" for $40. The $30 amazon DOTD was one of the best DOTD's ever...probably the lowest this game will ever be new or used.

Looks like it has once again been wiped out of circulation pretty much, because it's now $50 used at gamestop. There's a 2 disc original copy I'm eyeing at one of my local stores, waiting for a really good PS2 coupon, just to have another set.
