yeah i got that game for my ps1. great game but it took a long ass time to beat. that's why I only want for srpg for my ps2.

if you run a search of Phantom Brave at outpost,. they also have Limited Edition PB, except GS has better bonus stuff..

LE PB should have limited edition cover art and music soundtrack. I think the GS gives that extra mini artbook..

Get Disgaea. It's the first Atlus game to get reissued (they only make so many of each title so they rarely get clearanced). I played over 100 hours of it, and thought it was great. Best story in a tactical RPG, and each item/weapon has its own 100-world, randomly-created dungeon in it. Phantom will be good and La Pucelle rocks, but I say pick up Disgaea -- especially at $35.

Assuming it follows the JPN release, the LE cover is the smaller one in that GS pic (where teh 3 chars are sitting on the island w/ the dragon behind them). The other one is the regular cover...

I'm 20 hours into la Pucelle and only beginning chapter 4, and still have Disgaea sealed.

I prolly wont get to play Phantom Brave until like the year 3000.

When I got home today, I saw a UPS delivery slip on my door saying I got a package from gamestop! and from what I remember, PB is all I ordered.. but isnt the game coming out on 31st? Hmm.. that is quite a few days early.. isnt it. TOo bad I gotta wait til MOnday

The artbook is a flimsy-ass 8-page piece of junk. I doubt they would send it separately.

Sounds like glowing endorsement for the artbook...And besides the Japanese covers that were shown earlier I haven't seen any differing US covers. Are the LE cover even something that's being released here or was that only in Japan?

My gamestop pre order status says "Processing" (before it said "Pre Order") and they charged my credit card today, so who knows what's going on. Usually they don't charge it until it ships. We'll see when I get it.

actually a friend reminds me that maybe it's the strategy guide I ordered that came in early.. that does make sense though.. but I dont know why GS still send it separately.. lol.. it's cool either way

Yep, Gamestop has the guide in stock in B&M stores, so that's prob what you're getting.

The guide is freaking small in size- it's like the size of a Working Designs guide, except it's paperback, and $20. WTF? For $20 I expect a guide with larger print.

My copy just arrived about an hour ago. There is no special boxart for the LE.

EDIT: The only difference from the original is that it says "Special Edition" behind the bottle on the back box art.
