If you purchased Ninja Gaiden this week and beat it by May 31,2004 you can trade it in and get Halo 2 for $14.99 (plus sales tax)
or
Trade in your old Halo and get Halo 2 for $29.99 (plus sales tax)
offers expires May 31,2004
Not too bad, basically you get a extra 10 bucks on Ninja Gaiden, since most new releases trade in for $25.00. So it would be a $35.00 trade in for Ninja Gaiden towards Halo 2. And as for Halo 1, you basically get an extra 10 bucks, since Halo 1 trades in for 10 bucks normally.
I saw that stupid coupon they stuck on Gaiden, and honestly that promotion sounds so stupid...but then again I rarely get rid of games.

This is actually a pretty good deal. I hear the presells are building rapidly, even though it's not due out until the fall.

These trade-in offers are kind of a rip-off considering the nebulous release date of Halo 2. You'd be better off just putting money in a savings account.

I never really liked xbox halo, playing pc shooters when quake came out. Im sure several people share the same thoughts split screen, control set up... I started playing the pc version last week. Much better. I still believe though its the best thing for console shooters since goldeneye

Why would you trade away Halo? Unless Bungie is on the verge of announcing that Halo 2 will contain the complete Halo game.
This isn't like upgrading Resident Evil to Resident Evil: Director's Cut.
What a crummy promotion.

well this is kinda good seanse NG is beatable withing a week, and some people don't like to keep their games, not to mention the amount of people wo feel jiped after buying into the hype of NG only to discover that its simply a really good action game, rather than, you know, the ultimate virtual experience or something.
As for halo1 I myself might do that deal, sense I picked up halo for $15 and I never reall y liked the game outside of myultiplayer
BTW Halo 2 will be out before the X-mas season, its confirmed on bungies website.

I would rather trade Halo for Halo 2, Who is actually going to play halo 1 when 2 comes out? Ninja Gaiden is actually pretty cool, so I may keep it The problem is there have been so many release dates for halo 2 that I am starting to feel that it will never come out....... Defender has the release date for halo 2 as 6/1/04 on videogamedeals.com so hopefully summer?

A used halo for halo 2 for 29.99 is a great deal
halo is years old and every halo 1 owner will be buying halo 2
this sounds like a great deal getting 20.00 off halo 2 for a old used halo 1
woohoo

Hmm, I might buy Ninja Gaiden now, instead of renting it. I am gonna buy Halo 2 anyway, so it's worth the $15 to have Ninja Gaiden for 3 months.

I'll have to agree with you. Ninja Gaiden is a great game for the Xbox. I'll just wait to pre order HALO 2 when it has free 1 day ship or comes in a bundle or something like it.

I don't think that HALO 2 will be sold out, since it's being hyped so much, I'm sure retail stores online and offline will have plenty of them.

There is no way I'm ever getting rid of Ninja Gaiden. I just got it today and played six hours straight. The last game I did that with for single player was the original Devil May Cry, only that game was over by then. Gaiden still has ten chapters left. Besides, Gaiden actually got me Halo 2 for 25 bucks thanks to ebgames.com 4 for 1 trade in. Buy this game and keep it.

Man I'm glad I already have Halo 2 fully paid off from the 4 for 1 deal. I definitely would want to keep Ninja Gaiden. That deal has gotten me many games, Fable, Ninja Gaiden, and the list goes on.

Forgive me for asking but does this trade in require a coupon? Is it in stores? I guess I'm asking for the details. I didn't pick up NG so I haven't seen anything about this and I'm thinking about trading in Halo in. Thanks.
