I haven't seen TF muggs clearanced at the Targets in my area of Socal. I did see that they had a Temporary Price Cut on SW Muggs to $9.34 (15% off). I've been seeing more and more TF Muggs except for Starscream. It seems that is the one that always sells out as soon as they get them in. I'd be interested in picking up a second one (especially on clearance).

During my trip to MA last week I scored Chewy at my old TRU.
Then I bought Bumblebee at Target on clearance.
Then I found Destro and Baroness at another Target.
And lastly I got Qui-Gon Jinn at Newberry Comics.

Newberry Comics had all the new X-Men, and all the online exclusives.
Qui-Gon was $15.99. I almost bought Ackbar for $19.99 but passed at the moment.

It was like Christmas yesterday while Mugg shopping. Went to Target and got Megatron, Soundwave and Bumblebee on clearance. Then I went to Toys R Us and found a Destro. I turned around and there was Grimlock and Starscream. Went down the aisle with the Marvel Muggs, saw Jigsaw so I grabbed him and behind him was a Punisher. Basically my trip to TRU was the equivalent of that youtube video of those little kids going nuts after opening up their N64 at Christmas.

Mighty Muggs hit various retailers.
MMs take up too much space and don't sell as well as hoped.
Retailers decide to discontinue stocking, and begin to clearance.
TRU takes the reigns and vows to be the sole B&M retail supporter.
TRU gets a lineup of previously exclusive MMs and charges double-retail for them?

Picked up Baroness at TRU. I hadn't realized that they raised the price of MM to $11.99. I found it weird that this TRU did not have one Marvel MM in stock. Also, they only had 4 Moff Tarkins but they had alot of the GI Joe Muggs.

Around these parts, it's not halting - it's dead. Of the places that sell Muggs, there hasn't been a new one in stock since at least February. As for the lines themselves, info about them have slowed to a trickle. We've known of a bunch of Muggs that have been scheduled to come out eventually, but that's about it. Here's hoping SDCC shocks some life back into 'em.

I took my family to the Tri-Cities, which is about an hour and half from where we live. My daughter is going on a class trip to Florida so we head out to buy her clothes for her trip. Anyway, I love comic books and I had a falling out with the local place that sells comics in my town. I stop to visit a place called Underground Adventure. I'm not a fan of the SDCC Logan at all. I never really was a huge Wolverine fan and it's annoying that he's got as many iterations as Spider-Man. I'm happy about the re-release of the Iron Man though.

Toys R Us is running a *huge* Transformers promotion, and both TRU's I have been to over the course of two weeks have been overflowing with TF Muggs... I've seen multiples of every TF released to date, it's been a good mix of Wave 1 and 2.

Tons of G.I Joes as well.

Targets and Wal-Marts here don't have shit... surpringsly, TRU has been where it's at, and it's where I picked up my Soundwave, Megatron, Starscream, and Grimlock.

So yea... if anyone wants to fill holes in a TF / G.I Joe collection, and you have a TRU, head on over. From what I've seen, they restock fast too.

I think it's the same at all Targets. TRU will end up as the only place that stocks MM (other than comic book shops but they always mark up). IMO, buying Mighty Muggs online is not the same as hunting for them B&M. I'll miss that childish glee of finding a MM that you had been hunting for.

Went to K-Mart today, and saw that they still had Indy Muggs on clearance. I got Mola Ram for $4.80. The only other one they had on clearance was the Cairo Swordsman. He doesn't do much for me, but I don't have him and at that price I'm tempted to go back next time I'm out and pick him up anyway.

I'm not 100% positive on this, but I think K-Mart is having an unadvertised sale on Mighty Muggs. I checked the price of the ones they had in stock, and they all rang up as "ADV $8.00" on the price scanner.

What I saw there:
Galactus, Doc Ock, Silver Surfer, Human Torch, Obi-Wan, Asajj Ventress, Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream.

Good advice. I might swing back to get Galactus and Doc Ock later in the week; it seems like the stock is drying up in my area, so I might as well get them while they're still out there. Spider-Man's always been my favorite superhero (still don't have Spidey himself, but Doc Ock is a start), and Galactus...well, the dude eats planets. How is that NOT cool?

As for the Swordsman...I'm not anywhere near completing most of the waves, but the Swordsman would make for a complete Indy first wave, which would be the first (and only) wave I had all of. He's tempting just because of that.

I know I'm really late to the party here, but Mola Ram looks a lot cooler out of the box than he did in it. :D

In an attempt to contribute something else, all of the GI Joe Muggs I've seen at Target have been hovering at the $7.xx price for a while now. I'd like to get Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander for cheap, but GI Joe was just a little before my time so it's not a huge deal if they vanish before they drop again. Same for Transformers - I was born a few years too late to appreciate the old-school toys. Now, if they had Ninja Turtles Mighty Muggs...

One of my local Targets (Lacey, WA) FINALLY received a stock of the exclusive Star Wars Muggs. I managed to pick up a Snowtrooper. They also had a Shocktrooper, which I already picked up off of eBay, a C3PO, and Rex, both which I've already had for what seems like a year now.

All I need now is a Biggs to finish my Star Wars collection and a couple of the Marvel Online exclusives to finish up that collection. I'm at 54 of these things! (~$540) :'(

One of my local Targets (Lacey, WA) FINALLY received a stock of the exclusive Star Wars Muggs. I managed to pick up a Snowtrooper. They also had a Shocktrooper, which I already picked up off of eBay, a C3PO, and Rex, both which I've already had for what seems like a year now.

All I need now is a Biggs to finish my Star Wars collection and a couple of the Marvel Online exclusives to finish up that collection. I'm at 54 of these things! (~$540) :'(

C3PO was a Target exclusive?

That's where I picked him up earlier in the year (with the remnants of a gift card), but I could swear I saw him in Toys R Us and Meijers a few times, too.

Found an endcap stockpile of Muggs on clearance for $7.xx at a non-local Target today. Revan, Biggs, Ewok, maskless Vader,shirtless Darth Maul, Shock Trooper, C-3P0, Stormshadow, & Cobra Commander were the highlights.

After putting them all down, I picked up Green Eggs and Ham Tag book for $10 :)

I have to admit, I was very close to getting the Shock Trooper (for the 2nd time). If I actually knew who he was in the Star Wars Universe or had even an ounce of connection to him, I would probably buy him. Or if it was less than $5.

Yesterday, I went to a Target that had all MM on clearance at 30% off. They had Biggs, C-3PO, Dooku, Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Shock Trooper, Snow Trooper and Bossk. I usually only see Hoth Han, Tarkin and GI Joe Muggs on clearance. This was also the first time that I've seen Marvel MMs on clearance. This Target had their lone Silver Surfer on clearance.

Went to a Target today, and the remaining GI Joe Muggs had been marked down to $2.74. The only ones they had left were Duke and Cobra Commander; I didn't have either, and left with both. :D

I'm not a huge GI Joe fan, but the Muggs did look pretty awesome (Cobra Commander in particular). If I can find Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow for cheap, I'll probably pick them up too - who doesn't like ninjas?

The Star Wars and Marvel lines were the same remnants that had been there for a few months - Thing, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, Tarkin, and Han Solo in his Hoth gear. They were NOT marked down to the $2.74 price...which is a shame, since they had three or four of Iron Man left and I haven't picked him up yet. Given how long the Joes stuck around, here's hoping he's still there in another week or two when their price drops too...

That's a nice price for those. Very nice. Thor alone is perhaps the rarest non-exclusive Marvel Mugg, as he was only available in Wave 3 Revision 1. All others have popped up in one revision or another. Regularly goes for 25+ on eBay. Hopefully it goes to a collector and not a reseller.

In other news the local TRU finally got some Destro + Baroness muggs in. I now have all the muggs I intend to collect (complete Marvel Line + 1 or 2 from the others). Looks like I get to rest until the next waves hit stores, which probably won't be until fall (guesstimation).

Revan might be fairly difficult to find, from personal experience I've only seen Revan twice and that was months ago when that wave had just come out. Your best bet is probably any of the newest wave of Star Wars Muggs at Target ... they should all be on clearance and you might get lucky and find a Snowtrooper, Wicket, Biggs, Capt. Rex, C3P0, etc .... most places I've been are running low on Joes and Transformers. Outside of the Silver Surfer and Galactus, the Marvel muggs have been lacking as well ... but I'd say your best bet is to check Target, because at least you'll get them for a good price

It's interesting that some people find Galactus and Silver Surfer the "easy to find Marvel Muggs," when the last time I saw either was towards the end of last year. Ghost Rider, Spidey, and Thing are the Marvel Muggs I see the most.. Regional, I guess.

You should also check Toys R Us if you have one nearby. They might not have Muggs on clearance, but they tend to have the best selection in my area. That and they tend to restock different Muggs fairly often.

So my first outing for MMs worked out fairly well. Target has the smallest selection but best prices. I picked up a Mace Windu and passed on Snow Han Solo. TRU had a few of SWs but none that interested me, however I did pick up Ironman. Finally Kmart, one of which had Marvel and Transformers and the other had GI Joe on clearance. Hidden in the back of the clearance shelf was Obi-Wan Kenobi. So the grand total of the trip is 3 MMs for about $30. Not great pricewise, but now I know to go mostly to Target or Kmart for cheap MMs.

Also, I saw Punisher at TRU but they had 6 or 7. I figured I would wait on them, but are they TRU exclusives? I didn't see them anywhere else.

I found my post from when I got my SDCC Iron Man and believe it or not I managed to get one off their website in January (after about a month of checking every day). Of course, there's no telling what kind of stock they have for the new ones, but I'd be very surprised if they never came back in. Just gotta be patient.

Punisher is only available at Toys R' Us, so that's why people charge more.

The customs on that site apparently added the Junk on the custom Doc hahaha! They used Indiana Jones' hat for Custom Rorschach. Hadnt really got a good look at Logan's hat but Indy's doesn't look too bad when custom is completed.

So both muggs came in today, wolverine is stunning his claws look awesome! optimus is kind of a let down, his paint job isn't really 'metallic'. Although it is much more vibrant. Both boxes look very nice. All my exlcusives will remain in their box, to never breath fresh air.
