Thought about picking them up to eBay but decided that there are way too many sets being sold to bother - enjoy!

They are all pretty much hard to find. Its just that most stores do not stock them on a regular basis. The target in my town had had the same palpatine for months. Seems like there was a sudden rush for them. I know I wasnt interested in the SW muggs but I want the Marvel muggs bad!

Hate to tell you, but I actually saw more Grevious these days than I did about two weeks ago, not sure why, maybe they got new shipments. You probably just have to wait slightly longer.

i wish it were that way for me. cody is actually the only one i'm missing, and i'd like to replace my leia and a few others (bad paint jobs). sadly, i have the opposite problem. all my stores seem to be getting restocked with the new ones and i can't find anything older except palpatines, obi-wans and lukes.

The proportion of his body is off. Too bad b/c I was telling my friend they need to make a Short Round character to make the Indy series great, but it didn't turn out as well as I thought it would. It looks like he's using steroids with the huge arms.

Well thanks to this thread I bought my first...rather, seven Mighty Muggs. Managed to scoop up both Spider-Man and Black Costume. Got Captain America, Hulk(was there a doubt?), Wolverine, Ghost Rider and Thor.

Saw alot of interesting things after stopping at two different stores.

Firstly, K-mart in Feasterville, Pa on Street Road.
I managed to nab the only Marvel Muggs they had, which were Cap, Wolverine, Reg. Spidey, and Hulk. But, they had a few interesting Star Wars Muggs: Lando, Leia, Cody, and Luke. As for Indiana Jones, they had Indy, Mal, and the guy with the sword.

Second and lastly, Toy's R Us in Willow Grove, PA. They had 2 more black spideys, two or three more Ghost Riders, a bunch of Thor, and Doc Ock. Star Wars-wise, they had alot I hadn't seen at a few other stores. Han, Luke, Mace, Darth Maul, Darth Vader(4-eyes), Chewbacca, Jango, and a single Cody. Indiana Jones-wise, they only had Indy and the guy with the sword. :(

Also, if anyone wants me to go pick these up for them, let me know. I'm not getting out for the rest of the day, but I'll do my best to run out tomorrow.

I was tempted by both the Darth's..but the 4-eyes Vader looks ugh to me..and I promised myself and my girl that the only three I'd get from Star Wars were Darth Vader, Yoda, and Boba..so until I see them..no dice.

Also, how hard is it to find Doctor Doom? I really want him, Vader, and Boba to rule over my muggs with Iron, Darkside, and Bounty hunter fists. :)

I can't get lucky with Muggs at all lately. The Wal Mart in my home town is all out and the KMart has the same 6 from the last time I was there about a month ago. A 4 eyed Vader, Darth Maul, Han Solo's and Chewbacca's. None of those really "Wow" me as Muggs :( I'm going to head to the next closest Wal Mart a town over. Hopefully I can find a Dooku and a Grievous.

So the Walmart one town over was a gold mine! I found Thor, Black Suit Spidey, regular Spidey, Doctor Doom, Doc Ock, Ghost Rider, Captain America, Hulk, Boba Fett, Obi Wan, Luke(both styles) Palpatine, a light chested Storm Trooper, Mace Windu and Lando.

I'm wicked pumped. I can't wait to go back this weekend and grab a few more.

Finally found a Target with Marvel MMs in stock (besides Hulk). Picked up Galactus, Human Torch and Silver Surfer.

Lately, the only MMs that I have seen at Target, TRU and WM are Luke, Obi Wan, the Emperor, Han Solo and Hulk. I found a lone Captain America at Target but I had already picked it up. I still haven't seen the new SW wave in my area.

Finally opened one yesterday (Wolverine) and he is quite sharp. My son (11 month old) got mad, so I let him play with it, minimal damage, so thats a plus if he ever gets ahold of him again.

Target worked for me as well. I just picked up the new Marvel wave during my lunch break. Unfortunately, Galactus's helmet doesn't come off. I was looking forward to putting it on Hulk. Oddly enough, I never even saw wave 3 at that Target. I found those guys at the Walmart next door, which had Doc Ock and Black Suit Spidey. No wave 4 there.

I do noticed that Target have less Hulks these days. I went to one Toys 'R' Us and it has more Hulks than the Hulks I seen in the Target stores I went to today combined. Not sure why, probably Target still have that sweet price of $9.99.

I am done with Muggs hunting, at least for a while, until the stores have ones that I might want, i.e. Venom, Thing, wave 6 Darth Vader. Wallet and car cannot take much more random driving to stores.

I picked up Indiana Jones with darker color hat yesterday. And picked up wave 4, excluding Wolverine, today. It seems that Galactus' head plus helmet is too tall, thus he has shorter body than others.

About Human Torch, it is basically a repaint of Ghost Rider, even the flame color of hair and style are the same.

Also, Punisher appears on the back of the box, as one of those small images, not sure what that might indicate about it being exclusive. Maybe only Jigsaw is exclusive now?

Of all the Silver Surfers I have seen, I have seen three of them by the way, they all have a small dent like mark on their heads. Not sure why.

I've already stuck myself to pre-ordering the ones that I want from Bigbadtoystore. They're a little more expensive but I too am getting sick of checking out store after store only to be greeted by another Mace Windu or Luke Skywalker.
The only thing that sucks is that purchasing online doesn't really let you investigate the actual figure for any odd marks, until it ships (unless you want to pay for "collectors grade" which may or may not cover this. Oh well. At least I can sleep easy knowing that I at least have 'em coming.

My Thing doesn't have a small dent on the head...I didn't notice one on SS, I left him in the car, I'll inspect more closely when I open them and let you know.

Oh they are cooler than Beanie Babies for sure. I remember when I was young going around with my mom and sister looking for Beanie Babies and calling stores everyday to see if any came in. I was a dumb kid.

Wasn't going to pay $20 a piece though, and evidently they have been making their way into local Toys R Us stores, according to a cashier that said the collectors are coming right when the doors open each morning and buying them out. She also told me how cool Venom was ... which would have been ironic/annoying if not for the fact that I have my Borders Venom safely at home. Cheers, the hunt continues ...

Yeah, but that is if they have something other than ones often seen in stores...

One Walmart I went to have overflow of Luke, Obi-Wan, and Mace, it took up three different spots on different shelves. That is so ridiculous. And to make things worse, almost all of their boxes have damages.

Not yet. I was going to do it for Marvel wave 1, but since I had most of them, I did not try to pre-order it yet. Just see which set you like the best. For me, I would go for Red Skull and Thanos just to pair them with Captain America and Iron Man.

I finally broke down and bought my first Mighty Mugg. It was Captain America. He's my favorite character of what's been released so far so I just had to (and I've noticed that the wave 1 Marvel figures are getting more and more scarce). For Star Wars I'm eyeing Mace Windu and Darth Maul if I ever see them again). From the Indy line I might get Dr. Henry. Gi Joe I've already mentioned Cobra Commander (and maybe Destro and Baronness). Finally, Transformers might be Megatron and Soundwave (and definitely Starscream if they ever make one).

After that though, I swear I'm not getting any others... Then again a Cobra BAT Mighty Mugg would be pretty damn cool...

Finally found SW wave 5 in my area at Target. I only found Count Dokku and Asajj Ventress but atleast I found something. I was getting worried. The hunt is on for Anakin and Cap Rex.

I still haven't found Ghost Rider at TRU.

I think TRU and Kmart have always had MMs priced at $10.99. Only Target and WM have them for $9.99.

That unmasked Spidey mugg is actually kind of cheap. Pretty sure its just Anakins head on symbiote spidey's body with the webbing being the only addition. Still looks nice, but not for what he is asking.

I think the few leftovers got listed on Hasbros site, but sold out quickly. Exclusives don't get sold in normal stores, so try eBay.

Yep, Indiana Jones Mighty Muggs are $10.99 in Target. I think they either raised it from $9.99 or it was like that before. I did not pay attention to them in Target until I saw the different price tags last week.

In good news, I went to Target last night and they got a shipment of Wolverine reprints, so I picked up one of those.

I finally found wave 4 marvel figures in Wal-Mart! I got all 3, the boxes are a bit smushed on the corner, but nothing too bad, I was just happy to find them. Also, a question to anyone that owns Galactus, is his head supposed to be stationary? Because I can't seem to get it to move.

By the way, I'm sure I'm not the only one having "storage problems" with the Muggs boxes. I open all my Muggs but I can never tear myself to throw the boxes away. I just had a giant unsightly stack of boxes in the corner.

Well, I just realized something today. If you take out the plastic tray, you can actually break the boxes down and flatten them. The one issue that came into play was the stick double sided tape on the top of the boxes...if you pull them slowly it comes apart, and then you can put a regular piece of tape over that tape so the boxes don't stick together. Also fold the inner cardboard down as well while it's still inside the box and you have cut the tape on it.

Then most of the inner plastic pieces will interlock, the ones that don't, well you can find somethat will and some that won't. What I did was just put as much as I could together and then put them all inside a cardboard box.

Now, instead of an unsightly corner of boxes, I have a small space in my closet for them. :)

Currently, I am keeping my Muggs all in the boxes, since I have no place to display them anyway. I plan to keep them boxed up till I find a place and decide to take them out. Probably would not be for years.:D But your way of dealing with the boxes are how I keep the boxes of stuffs and avoid them from taking up spaces, at least try to, anyway.

Those Power Rangers Muggs are pretty well made, and the price is actually good, considering the person has to buy the Muggs, strip or just purely prime them, and color them. That is quite fair, for the moment anyway, till it hits like $100 or so...:)

So just curious, what exactly is the deal with the previews exclusives, are they only sold online or something? Since I didn't know how it worked and I really wanted an Admiral Ackbar mugg, I pre-ordered from bigbadtoystore.com just to be safe. Yes he is. I have seen him in store and have gotten him, the very same one I saw, last week. But it could be dependent on the stores, since the one I got was the only one I have seen, I seen more times of Mutt Williams than him or Monkey Man.

He probably was rare, since at first I have not seen him in stores, but recently, I have seen him in stores, particularly Toys 'R' Us. Probably re-releasing him now.


By the way, I just visited Mighty Muggs Lounge for some news, and it seems that BigBadToyStore has e-mailed a member, one with many Muggs, about Indiana Jones wave 3 and 4 been canceled. Wonder if that spells trouble for other series.

I was able to pick up Galactus and Silver Surfer at Target this afternoon. Still at the $9.99 price point. They had three Galactus, two Silver Surfer, two Wolverine and a Human Torch. Both of the Silver Surfers had a tiny dent in the forehead.

On a random walk around the city I went in and saw that they had Mighty Muggs... for $20 bucks plus tax! They had a really nice variety, but those prices are terrible. I predict that in a month or so these will be cleared out at a nice discount.

Of course, I wouldn't feel bad about paying $20 for Venom ... at least until the re-issue shows up ... but even then, these things seem to fly off the shelf and Venom has a chance at being worth quite a bit more than $10 or even $20.
