Borders has had Venom and Wolverine the last 2 or 3 times I've went. They are 19.99, but with some coupons that pop up every week they would only be about 14 bucks.

I can't find Caps anywhere though.

I have to clarify, I don't see much point in these Mighty Muggs but if I see the Cobra Commander one and if they ever make a Starscream one, I'll own exactly 2 Mighty Muggs at that point.

I don't know what this $15-$20 BS is, no one should be charging that much for them. I see them at K-mart, Target, TRU, and Wal-mart for $10-$12. (they go in and out of stock all the time)

I always enjoy looking at them, but I tell myself I'll only buy them if they start selling a smaller version, maybe 3" or so. They're just too big the way they are. Iron Man was somehow the coolest and cutest at the same time, something about his squinty eyeholes...

These are badass. I sold a lot of my old vinyl but these are cheap enough that I don't give a shit. I think I will stick to the Marvel line. I ordered a handful of blanks today and am going to hit up Target in a half hour when they open.

Yeah, at Toys R us the the usually have a pretty decent selection. 10.49 isn't the cheapest, but compared to resale, websites, and specialty shops they are pretty cheap. Plus, TRU usually has a better selection.

Plus, I have only seen one Target have a few of the Marvel ones one time.

Went there yesterday had like 4 Wolverines, 6 Spiderman, 1 Thing, 2-3 Dr Dooms.

If I am not mistaken, Thanos and Red Skull are Previews exclusives so they won't be in retail stores like Target etc...

Cheapest for me has been $10, but I also have a hell of a time finding them locally. I have had to pay a small premium for most of mine online. The only ones I am missing from the marvel line is Venom and Peter Parker.

Ha! I'm doing the same thing. I'm keeping all my Marvels boxed and I took the Star Wars (Darth, 2 stormers, Bespin Luke, Leia, Lando, Chewie) out of the box to play with them. Yes, to play with them.

Unfortunately it's probably going to be a little tougher than it was a couple weeks ago. The Hasbro online store had the SDCC exclusives on sale for about a week after Comic Con for 14.99 each. Just for future reference, Hasbro is pretty good with selling their exclusive comic con items online right after Comic Con wraps, or so I've noticed. The other option is to wait it out on the exclusive iron man and see if they don't sell as well as people think they will ... risky tho if you really want one

I'm glad to see a thread about these. I had seen them in stores and was curious what the deal was with them. 100% recycled plastic, sure, I'm in. I've got the Thing. I'm going to grab Thor, Grevious, and Obi Wan when I have the spare cash. Destro looks good too, though I've never been a big GI Joe fan. And I'm not too fond of the Indy ones, they just don't look neat imo. Is there any real story behind these toys? Or are they just neat little collectables?

Just got my CC Exclusive Iron Man in the mail today from Hasbro.com and I have to say imo it's by far the best looking Mighty Mugg I've seen, the packaging is awesome as well. I hope they do some regular releases with the fancier packaging at some point. Speaking of which, someone mentioned a "shiny" venom re-release that they saw at Comic Con earlier in this thread I think ... has that been confirmed? If so, are there any pics because that sounds awesome (I'm still holding out for Carnage because I love the contrast between ultra violence and ultra cute)

Yeah, same here. Seems like the Marvel ones are getting scooped up. I have seen about 8 Hulk muggs around town. I was at the local mall toy store (they sell all type of collectable toys) and was shocked to see all the regular Mighty Muggs priced at 19.99.

I know most of the Marvel ones are hard to find right now. I've been to a Target, a WM and a Fred Meyer in the last couple days without seeing a single Marvel MM.

The only Marvel MMs I saw was at this pretty po-dunk WM. And even then, they only had 2 Hulks and 1 opened Capt. America which I passed on.

It's finally happened. I'm addicted to these things. It started off simple enough a few weeks ago when I got Mola Ram (http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=browse&product_id=21605) at Target during my lunch break because he looked so insane. Then I went to TRU after work and left with Lando (because the smile is hilarous) and Captain America (because he's awesome). Since then, I've picked up Jango Fett (dual wield!) and Thor. Today, I broke down and got red-suit Spidey and Wolverine, because I figured I'd never see them again. I'll probably focus on the marvel line, but I swear I'm not going after the rare exclusives, no matter how awesome Iron Man looks.

Okay, sure, I'll probably break down and get him eventually.

I guess I'll have to pay another visit to the local Walmart that had Thor and pick up the rest of the new wave. I think I can finish off wave 2 from the other local Walmart a couple of miles away, and then that just leaves Venom and Iron Man (classic).

yes, Its becoming rare. The best for trades right now is Venom's and Storm Troopers if you can find them. Could probably trade a Venom and Stormie for a SDCC Iron Man.

I thought the same but, seeing as how I'm a huge Spidey fan, I had to get him for my collection. Thankfully, I pre-ordered it before SDCC for $20 so it wasn't that bad.

Sad thing is, I went to Comic-Con so I could have gotten him cheap, I didn't know it was going to be this rare or I would have gotten one. Oh well...no biggie.

i had a clerk at the local borders do a check for me...100 mile radius. turned up 1 store with 3 in stock. called to confirm and hold one or 2...after 15 minutes of "looking" clerk says they were jsut sold.

I'm not sure where they were originally released, but I found them at Value City last year (Cap, Venom, Iron Man, Hulk, maybe more?) for about $10 each.

Back on topic, I just saw the Galactus MM on BBTS.com, and he's great. The littlest planet devourer in the universe! The GI JOE figures look incredible as well.

Try ebay, it may be a couple of dollars less(or more) but you have too be careful who you order from.

My guess is that something went wrong with that one at the factory. You could probably put it up on eBay and sell it off as a rare variant.

I got my new suit Iron Man from BBTS today, everything was in real good shape. He is just as awesome as I'd hoped. Now I just have to decide if I can shell out that much money again for the Peter Parker.
