Cleaning a ps2?

Is it safe to wipe the outside of a ps2 with alchohol to clean the dust and what type of cloth should i use?

Micro fibre cloth.

DON'T use rubbing alcohol. This can discolour or cloud many plastics.

Buy an el cheapo cloth and just wipe the PS2 down. Unless you have sticky jam on it or something, the dust will come right off.

Or you can just use compressed air because it doubles for cleaning the inside too.

I use Endust for Electronics mostly. I recommend just dusting the console and using a cleaner or alcohol on the controllers (as they tend to have cracks that get dirty even if you wash your hands before use).
