Oh yeah, you can't use a hotmail account for your email. If you did, on the freeipods site, you must change it. you cannot verify your account if you have a hotmail email input.

OK, sounds pretty interesting. Not sure I need someting like that, but to feed my curiosity even more, why is it such a big deal that you are giving away invites? They must be hard to come by or something?

Gmail isn't open to the public. It's invite only and there is far fewer invites going around now.

Actually its not too tough to come by the invites, but at least he is giving something for you to sign up, which is better than nothing if you were gonna sign up anyway.
