View Full Version : Gamestop brand screen covers... I have a bubble on mine
Just got a DS for my birthday yesterday so I picked up the Gamestop brand screen protectors as well. I put them on today and the top one is fine, but on the bottom one there is a small bubble towards the middle. It's going to drive me nuts but I can live with it as long as it doesn't mess with functionality at all.
If this has happened to anyone else, did it mess up the touch function at all? If so, how the hell would you remove it since it sits so flush and up to all four edges and the touch screen is recessed?
You could try to peel back the screen protector with tape so you don't have to use your nails.

It won't affect the touch function. If you don't like the way it works, use a piece of tape starting from the left or right edge and pull it back until you let the bubble out as was suggested above. You can also try to squeeze the bubble to the closest edge, at which point it will escape from beneath your screen protector. I've done both successfully.

Chances are it's not even a bubble, but rather a speck of dirt/dust that's trapped under there. If you see a tiny dot in the middle of the bubble, or notice it's not moving around even if you push it with a credit card, then you'll have to peel it off, remove the speck, and put it back in place.
Tape wasn't working so much (probably not good tape I used) but the credit card worked like a charm. Thanks!
