Judging the eBay account versus the actual site is like comparing apples and oranges. They have actually revised their warranty policy on open box items and i believe it is now 30 days. Your first and last links are from...2006, 2 years ago. If you haven't noticed, Stootsi.com is celebrating their 2 year anniversary right now. Might it occur to you that when they were starting out things were a bit rough? Either way, to just flat out say this site is a fraud based on a 2 year old forum post and a 2 year old article, both which came out when the site first started...seems like trolling to me.

Alot of us have ordered from there before and have gotten our orders okay but expect some refurbished stuff but in the end it's worth it for all the stuff they have given in mystery boxes, it's not like every website doesn't make mistakes. Spend some time on the site before throwing those stupid Fraud websites okay Newbie?

I've been duped one too many times by these fraud sites, so I guess I'm naturally inclined to suspect something's too good to be true as soon as I hear multiple claims that it's a scam.

I see now that I was wrong. My only question is this: As far as mystery boxes goes, how do I know that the company does not have an overstock of shitty GBA games they want to get rid of, and that is not likely what I would get in the box?

I know I still sound skeptic saying that, and it's because, well... they're EXTREMELY vague in the description. They mention PS3 games, but they also mention GBA games. It's hard for me to sit and assume that these guys are going to send me a quality game(s) for a mere five dollars, since I've never done business with them and haven't really heard any firsthand accounts of business with them. All I've heard is "I know some guys who did business with them" so far, and I'm still not convinced.

I'll probably get bitched at for saying that, because I'm sure some of you are reading this and have had hundreds of dealings with them with ZERO hassle, but I am and always will be skeptical of online trade sites that sound too good to be true.

My package had the same details, and it arrived today. I got a "React Guitar Stand Kit for Gaming Guitars." It includes the pieces to assemble a guitar stand, a guitar strap, and some stickers. Also, one of the main pieces is cracked, but is still functional. It's a good thing I play Rock Band.

I got my box today. I got a Nyko play and charge kit for 360. It was an open box return but it doesn't look like the wire was ever taken out of the box. Not sure if it works yet but Wal-mart sells it for about 13.00. Meh.

Just hooked this up and the battery will not charge. Hopefully they don't give any hassle. I bought the Halo3 controller from them awhile back that was also DOA and that was accepted no questions asked.
